  My favorite cat litter

I have been using this litter for my cats for many years. It clumps really well and neutralizes odors quickly. I’ve never had a cat show any discomfort with stepping on or otherwise interacting with this litter. It does track kind of a lot, but litter mats and regular vacuuming (both of which should be standard for any home with cats regardless of litter type) keep it in check. If they ever get rid of the unscented option, I will be very sad and will have to start searching for a new one. Cats have such incredibly strong senses of smell, and scented litter is so overwhelming that it makes me uncomfortable, so I can only imagine how bad that’d be for the cats. And it truly is unscented. At worst, it smells like dust when I first pour it, though the current formula is definitely way less dusty than it used to be.Ver másVer menos

Perfect Even with an Automatic Litter Box

This is hands down the best litter I have ever used, and I will not switch to anything else.I use an automatic litter box, and this litter works perfectly with it. The clumping is excellent. It forms tight, solid clumps that do not crumble or fall apart, which makes the automatic cleaning cycle smooth and effective. There is very little sticking, which is important with an automatic system. The scent smells amazing without being overpowering. It keeps the area fresh, even with multiple cats. The Gain scent is clean and noticeable in a good way.The only thing to note is that it is heavy, especially the larger box. That can make pouring it a little more of a workout. However, the performance makes it worth it.Overall, it controls odor extremely well, clumps perfectly, works great with an automatic litter box, and is absolutely worth the money. I will never use another litter again.Ver másVer menos

Absorbent and has excellent order control

We have two cats and have tried several different types of cat litter. Fresh Step cat litter works really well for controlling odor. It keeps the litter box smelling fresh between cleanings and does a great job managing unpleasant smells in the home.It has ammonia-blocking technology, which really helps reduce strong odors and keeps the area smelling much cleaner for longer. The clumping ability is excellent, making scooping very easy and convenient, with clumps that hold together well for quick cleanup. It also absorbs very well, helping maintain a cleaner litter box overall. The compatibility is great with different litter boxes, and it performs consistently well. It is also very durable, lasts a long time, and doesn’t track a mess all over the floor like some other litters can leave tracking marks. It weighs 18.5-pound boxes, which is a good size and lasts a while.Overall, it’s very easy to use, low maintenance, and reliable. I would definitely recommend it to other cat owners looking for a litter that controls odor well and keeps things clean.Ver másVer menos

  Great, other than dust

Everything about this litter is good other than the dust. It tracks less than the other brands that I had "Arm and Hammer" and it does well with odor. The only negative is that it produces big dust clouds when you scoop it. Everything in my laundry room is covered in litter dust. I assume it is not good to breath in either. If it wasn't for the dust I would give it a 5. Still, probably the best litter overall. All of the brands that I have tried have at least one negative.Ver másVer menos

  Low smell, great clumping

This product was great for a road trip my Siamese and I took last year. I kept her litter box in a low sided container I could place a lid. Eventually I just left the lid off The clumping and lack of smell made it my decision to continue use in the house. Very little product is tracked out—I haven’t tipped the box on a rubber mat. She tends to be enthusiastic about covering her mess!Ver másVer menos

I love it and so do the kitties!

I am overall really happy with this cat litter The scent isn't overwhelming and it is currently being used for my household of two cats. I have a automatic robot litter box and it seems to scoop it quite nicely and I like that it doesn't stick to the sides of the litter box. The litter isn't too heavy either. I don't like the lightweight stuff that you can buy because I don't think it clumps as well however this stuff works great! The texture of this letter is high quality in my opinion and it has worked the best for me in terms of durability and longevity and also helps with the smell. The dust is very minimal whenever it comes to scooping.Ver másVer menos
