I’m not a cologne connoisseur by any means but I would definitely say I’m an enthusiast, I don’t buy the super expensive colognes but I do enjoy more affordable scents. As you can see lol. And with all these colognes on my shelf, there’s a reason ceo man is at the front. It’s my signature scent and I have it at the front so I can grab it easily. You might be asking, “out of all the colognes and choices in the world this is REALLY your signature scent?”. Hear me out. I first bought this cologne at a Burlington just to see if it was any good, at the price I had nothing to lose. The reason Im doing a review on Amazon is because I bought a second one so I can have a backup and also start the maturation process. Anyways, upon opening and spraying after I bought my first ceo man at Burlington, both me and my girlfriend were shocked. This smells goooooood. It is so well balanced it’s insane. You can use this all year round, from gym, to work, to date nights, to hot days, to even the coldest of winters. It’s fresh yet warm and inviting all at the same time, it’s masculine but in the most humble way. I like fresh colognes to smell clean and I also like colognes that are masculine, but aren’t screaming it in your face, that’s what I usually use during the colder months or nights of summer and spring. This hits that mark. Fresh but also warm and a little sweet from the tonka bean. When you get a masculine scent that still has a perfect balance of a little vanilla or tonka bean it’s game over for the ladies. AND fresh enough you can still wear this YEAR ROUND? Insane. It’s not too bold yet it still makes a statement. All in all I’d just say it’s class in a bottle. This is VERY mass appealing, or at least on my skin it is (your skin can sometimes alter how something smells, you could take two people and spray the same cologne on their skin and get two totally different notes…to an extent). ANYWAYS—- After coming home from Burlington that day and spraying my shirt and wrists, my girlfriend literally word for word kept saying “god you smell so good” and “you smell so YUMMY”. Keep in mind she’s said in the past “you smell goood” but the emphasis she was putting on these words this time around, I know this fragrance was a keeper and definitely had to be in rotation. I personally like how it smells but the fact that she really likes it as well really sold it for me. This cologne really turns heads, when I’m wearing this I notice customer service from women are a lot more talkative 😂 one time I had an appointment at the doctors and after checking in (with the front desk lady being oh so nice) I sat down in a busy waiting room, a couple minutes of sitting and I notice in my peripherals the lady next to me looks up like she smelled something and then glances over at me. She then goes back to her phone and after a couple minutes she puts her phone down and glances over at me from time to time with what it seems like she’s trying to make eye contact or strike up a conversation. Her body language I also notice that she’s sitting more leaning in my direction now. I know what you’re thinking, no this was not a “EW what is that smell” or “GOD this guy sprayed too much cologne”. Trust me. 3 sprays was all I did that morning, two on the wrist one on the shirt (you could def do more if you’d like but I knew I was coming back home after this appt so I could always reapply). I of course didn’t entertain anything because I’m happily taken but all I’m saying is this cologne is good. We tend to get super into colognes and look into it too much and want something super duper complex and expensive but it seems like the simple ones work the best. Don’t get me wrong I’m all about different notes and types of fragrances but in my experience it always seems to be mass appealing when things are more simple.I’m not trying to toot my own horn but I’m 1000% not a bad looking guy, I will say my height probably carries me lol. But my point is, I’m not some 3000lb Jabba the Hut saying that this cologne is getting me attention from girls, I promise I’m not being delusional. This cologne is extremely disarming, it’s probably my most favorite part about this cologne. It’s humble and inviting and disarming. Especially if you’re a masculine looking guy or look a little intimidating. It’s great if you’re in sales, run a business like me and are meeting potential clients, or just out and about on the town or jus goin to the gym. This cologne is disarming and inviting, once you smell it you’ll know what I mean.NOW, tips and tricks. This cologne doesn’t cost an arm and a leg so take it with a grain of salt. WHEN YOU FIRST GET YOUR CEO MAN COLOGNE….Open it and spray it into the air away from you 5-7 times. Yes I know you’re thinking your losing precious cologne but trust me this is crucial. You’re getting out all the alcohol that built up. If you spray it once on you after initial opening and smell it you’re gonna wonder why the heck I made this long of a review. NOW that you’ve sprayed it 5-7 times you’ve now officially started the maceration/maturation process, you’ve introduced oxygen into the bottle which will help make the cologne smell even better and last longer as time goes on. But of course you still want to smell it right now right? So spray it onto your wrists BUT wait 7-10 minutes to wait for the DRY DOWN. The dry down is how it’ll actually smell. Initial spraying on this cologne does have some alcohol I will admit. But you gotta trust the process. After you waited 7-10 minutes, THEN that’s when i want you to judge this cologne. And then after smelling it, remind yourself you started the maturation process and it’ll only get even better from here. I’ve only tried ceo man and ceo man intense and both are good but the original is a lot more of a everyday scent for me, the other one is well, more intense lol. I will definitely try their other ones as I wean my fragrance collection down and finish colognes that I don’t see as permanent in my collection. But for now I just got ceo man and ceo man intense. All in all for the price id rate this cologne an 11/10. Genuinely surprised. I know all the fragrance snobs don’t like this brand but after giving them a shot I’m definitely invested. BELLAVITA, please don’t change ceo man or reformulate it, please keep making colognes until I pass away lol, you’ll definitely have my business. Just don’t change a thing on this ceo man, if anything maybe longevity, but if that’s at the cost of changing how it smells I’ll take it exactly how it is. TLDR; get this cologne and give it a try, if you don’t like it it’ll definitely be a good room spray at the very very least. You genuinely have nothing to lose, cheers!Ver másVer menos
