Great value for price!
The TOMLOV DM9 7” Digital Microscope is an outstanding tool that combines ease of use with excellent image quality, making it perfect for coin collectors, hobbyists, and anyone working on small electronics. The large 7-inch LCD screen displays crisp, detailed images in 1080P with a 12MP camera, and the 1200X zoom allows you to see fine details that are impossible to catch with the naked eye. Focusing is smooth and precise, and the included 32GB SD card makes capturing photos and videos effortless. I appreciate that it can connect to a PC for larger viewing, but the built-in screen is more than enough for most tasks. The sturdy stand keeps the microscope stable, and it’s been especially useful for soldering work where a steady view is crucial. Overall, this microscope is powerful, versatile, and a great value for the price—I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable digital microscope.Ver másVer menos

Surprisingly excellent value, versatility, ease of use and functionality.
I was a fairly skeptical going in about the quality of this microscope as I had purchased on of the scopes that was hand and app controlled in the past and felt it to be a waste of money. I took the dive on this one because I was curious how the LCD side lights and other features would make a digital experience.I was really surprised ultimately by the quality of the unit when I plugged it in. The display is off high quality such that whatever is in focus in the microscope is crisp.Battery life is great. I used it for a good bit of time over two days and still had all 3 bars of battery. I got this to use with my father, a retired high-level scientist and he was similarly impressed. The accessories and controls add to the experience, particularly the side lights, which really help with precision and image quality in suboptimal situations. The pics I included show the corner of a vintage card I have, which will better allow me if I want to spend the $20 to get it professionally graded as well as the middle, so you can see how sharp the dots of color are. If you have a card or coin collection, this can save a good deal on assessment.I DO wish the manual was more substantial, as some users might want that off the bat to have the best out of the box experience. So, really, what I'm saying, is that if you are looking to shell out for a PC microscope in this price range, you shouldn't hesitate to put this guy on your short listVer másVer menos

Great for searching coin rolls
I usually don't write reviews unless it's a 5 star. I'd rather rant about why I like something as opposed to why I don't....unless it REALLY sucks. This little guy is frickin amazing. I am an avid coin collector and wanted something to view coins without having to use a normal handheld magnifier. This little guy does the job. I love that it has an internal battery that lasts a decent amount of time if you don't use the 2 back lights. But I just plug a battery pack into it and go forever. At least if I'm not near a plug. The lens attachments it comes with are great for naked viewing and for viewing things in a reflective cover. The anti reflective guard works GREAT. Just get it. It's cheap and you won't be disappointed.Ver másVer menos

This unit works well, It meets my simple needs- hobby work.
I use it for electronics repair and coin inspection, the description said good for coins. The problem is the height adjustment is VERY VERY SHORT. you can't get a whole penny in view as it comes. I had to build a contraption to elevate the assembly 12" higher to get full coin in view. The focus adjustment range does accommodate the new 12 to 16"height.Since coin inspection is generally 5x, maybe 10x. This unit needs to have a calibration mechanism to set it at 5x. AS it is you have no idea what magnification it is at. This does not stop the inspection, you still see the wear and flaws. But you can't say what grade the coin would get since you not at the reference 5x.The focus holds evenly, meaning it does not change as the unit warms up. In tech speak- no drift. The camera: It is good, card use is good if your computer is not on. The windows camera function does work but the view is different from what the LCD shows. That part is plug n Play. You can choose multiple picture sizes based on file size. Which correlate to 4k or 2k or 1080 type numbers. The picture included is 1280 x 720. This is the supplied height adjustment mechanism, set at max height.Included lights: the internal light is near white, for this hobby priced system, it is good for the electronics circuit board rework and coin inspection photos. The aux lights are useful in my work space to help eliminate shadows. They do have focus artifacts that may be a problem if your doing professional work (getting paid). Again for hobby work it exceeds the needs of casual inspection. In the photos included there is a full illumination and no illumination. Sometimes natural light does better.Ver másVer menos

Great product highly recommend
This is a real review and I am not a robot. I have this set up next to my bed. I like to look at Bugs I like little coins anything and everything that is too small to see. It’s great. We could take videos with it. it’s got lights. It’s remote control Very easy to use multiple lenses for the microscope part of it and slides so you can take your own samples and look at them underneath the microscope.Ver másVer menos
