16 months ago, I ordered a Formovie Theater Ultra Short Throw projector AND this plan “just in case”. Today, I am SO GLAD I bought this 3 year protection plan.I sincerely regret buying the projector since it would lose connection with the remote once a month and there is no way to access the projector’s menus or features without it. At first, I could follow the instructions and get the remote to connect again but, eventually, nothing I did got the remote to reconnect.I reached out to the manufacturers’ support site and email multiple times over the last few months and I never got a reply from them.I contacted Asurion and they provided a shipping label for me to send the projector to them. In less than a week, they contacted me by phone AND email to let me know they could not repair the projector but would be refunding my full purchase price.This protection plan was worth every penny I paid.Ver másVer menos

Waste of money
I filed the claim after 2 years I had to pay for a box ship it out because it has a dead pixel. A product at that time that cost me over $3,000 after 2 years should not have a dead pixel. They sent it back to me with a piece of paper stating that LG says that they won't fix it because it's not in the viewing area. Every time I watch TV it's in my viewing area. Once you see something like that your eyes just keep going over to that spot every time the picture dims or gets dark. I seriously doubt that the LG company stated that they won't fix it because it's just one pixel if that's the case I will never buy LG again and spend this kind of money on a product I thought was quality.Ver másVer menos

If it came broken or has a part failure a year and a half later. Go the extra distance on an expensive item and get insurance coverage. You wouldn’t drive your new automobile without insurance or have a home without it. Think about it!
