It works and less expensive than others
My 2017 laptop would not broadcast my Canon M50 video feed even though my laptop had an HDMI cable port. After wasting over an hour on the internet with worthless information, I found a YouTube video that identified the problem -- I needed a video capture card. The YouTuber had a link for a capture card for $95 but after searching I am thinking his link was more about him than the consumer because I found this device for a fraction of the cost. I plugged it in and then went to my Microsoft photos app and saw an icon that enabled me to switch from the laptop camera to the feed from my camera (of course if you take a photo or video with your laptop it will use the laptop camera, not the DSLR, but it this device is a great way for me to monitor the video feed from my external camera).Ver másVer menos

Great cheap/affordable way to start streaming!
I gave this five stars because it does exactly what it says it will. It captures your game video and audio, although it may take a little bit of troubleshooting. It's cheap, but it works. I use OBS and stream all the time with this. I do have to unplug it then plug it back in every time before I stream, but after that it works pretty well. Just make sure you have your resolution settings set to what they're supposed to be at, and set the FPS to 30 if you want the best results. Great product for beginners.Ver másVer menos

Good
Works when it works. Sometimes you'll get a random "no signal" or freezes especially in OBS that I haven't had with other capture cards, but this is still a great buy nonetheless as it takes 2 seconds to unplug it and plug it back in or relaunch OBS.

Nice! Make sure you set up your resolution and framerate correctly tho.
I used the HDMI port through my OBS. I will say at first I thought I got scammed since the screen was glitchy and there were dots everywhere. Until I found out the reason why was because it was set up as 4k and 60fps automatically when it plugged in. So all I did was match the resolution and framerate with my computer and what it could handle, and it works like a charm!!! Came out pretty good.Ver másVer menos
