Despicable people do despicable things
Another Sharon Sala book that will catch you unaware and leave you on the edge of your chair unable to put this book down before finishing it. At 12 years of age, Jordan Bien is caught between being a little girl and turning into a young woman. When her father, who has been absent for two years, shows up at her house and invites her to spend the night with him in a fancy motel, Jordan jumps at the opportunity. Jordan doesn’t realize that her father is kidnapping her and taking her to Kentucky where she will forced to become a child bride with the purpose of being a breeder for a psychic cult. Jordan’s mother, Tara Bien finds herself caught in a nightmare and no way to get the police to help her. Fortunately, Jordan had sent her mother a text telling her that she was going with her father. Tara is a lawyer and quickly contacts Charlie Dodge who is a private investigator. This is a riveting book and one of Sala’s best books. Don’t miss it!Ver másVer menos
