Momma!! The voices in my head are singing!!
I have been on a long quest to have the perfect earphones. Every time I settled, and I tried to make it work. Some earphones that were “Amazon choice” was not my choice. About two days ago from this review, I was introduced to in ear monitors. WTF Are in ear monitors??? Saw the price and pulled the trigger on them. Oooohhh eeemmm geee like falling in love all over again. All of a sudden music that I listen to threw me into this trance. Spending all night long listening to track after track. Music I have listened to before, music I have heard a thousand times over the years. Just had me clinging to every detail every bump, subtle sigh, every lip smack and drum snare. I was addicted, no one lived on earth except me and the three or four minutes that I lived in the song. Putting on other earphones was just to put music as my background and some noise cancellation. But now I’m actually listening laughing at every rap as they trash talk or emphasize how size matters and she knows it. Listening to every R&B falling in love or feeling the heartbreak. All this as if I was being thrown from one universe to another. My own quantum leap. Now I’m not into wine and I’m not a music connoisseur. I can only explain thing in my English and not some mix of French, Latin, and some other special words only surviving by those who use the words and know audio lingo.Have you ever heard of horn speakers? Companies like Klipsch or JBL use them for high frequency. If you have not, they give very detailed sound but it’s airy. Very light, but when playing loud it can get tinny (klipsch) JBL has managed to some how cut out the high frequency that gives ear fatigue. Like the Studio 590 those who have heard them know what I’m talking about. Trust me, it just a different sound when it comes to the highs. I have heard enough speakers and once I heard these IEM’s I could only compare them to the 590’s just without the chest crushing bass. It’s weird you just hear it in your head. With good reason to compare the highs of these IEM to horn speakers. The technology used is what is used in hearing aids. It is called balanced armature. This along with regular drivers for the mid to lows. I started with ones that twenty dollars and moved to these because you figure the more speakers the better not much the case unless you actually use them for instruments and you need to be critical about what you hear. I still use my dual driver IEM’s. Meaning armature for highs and regular speaker for lows. Don’t get me wrong these sound amazing. I have given away all my earphones. Not looking back. These are not for bass heads. If you have twelves and like heave “beats” bass. Maybe not for you. If you like balanced sound where bass is present but not overwhelming. Then you have to have them you will not regret it. Noise cancellation is passive meaning the housing sits in you ear with part of it in your ear canal. Trust me it is good enough to make it about you and your music.I don’t regret spending the money I did. This type of technology has a pricey cost in the professional world and some crazy music lover had the drums to make them available for those who are NOT willing to spend 600+dollars for some wine sipping audio that cost like a thousand for one musical note. Do it! You will not regret it. The only hard part is installing the wire to the earpieces. From there it will be music to your ears …….literally…. Pun intendidVer másVer menos
