Great beater watch to have
I bought this to wear as a beater watch...in other words, one that's easy to read that I could wear swimming, working on the car, or doing other rough stuff that would be abusive to watches and prematurely damage or age them. For $15, you can't go wrong with this watch.Pros:> Easy to read due to large white numerals & hands against a black background.> Stylish in a very simple & elegant way so that it can be worn for any occasion without being flashy or cheap looking.> Band is a little wider than normal, which is more comfy and tougher.> Price is right, so that if I damage or break it, I don't care.Cons:> The clear face is plastic, not crystal. Crystal would have been a nice touch for added toughness & scratch resistance. I have no idea how well this plastic face will endure over time, but if your hand is buried deep in an engine or other machinery, or scrapes against the side of a pool, I have a feeling it'll scratch up pretty good. But time will tell.> No day/date, which I would have liked to have. I looked all over Amazon's lineup of Casio watches for a similar looking one with day/date, and under $20, and there are none. I looked at other reliable name-brands too, but they had none that could compete with this Casio on simplicity & price.That being said, I would gladly pay a few dollars more if it had a crystal face and day/date function. Other than that, it's a great watch at a good price that you can beat around and not worry about.Ver másVer menos
