Highly recommend
This is a perfect starter bench. It was so easy to assemble. I assembled it alone and it took 1 hour, I think it would generally take less time, but I did misread an instruction, but was able to easily fix and get back on track. The parts were very well organized, and the instructions were very well labeled.The Roman chair is exactly what I was looking for and both that and the bench are very stable. Highly recommend. I will definitely check out more Finer Form products. It also came with a handy workout guide.Ver másVer menos

Awesome bench and comes with multiple formats of workout guide
I LOVE this workout bench! It’s so versatile, and I had it completely assembled in one hour. Directions are clear, but the one thing they don’t mention (for those less comfortable with assembly) is to use the Allen wrenches or hex keys provided to hold each bolt still while securing the nut on the other side with the engineer’s wrench (also provided). This bench is very stable and has really taken my workouts to the next level! I also want to point out that it does come with the workout guide, and actually in two formats (one review said that they couldn’t gain access to the workout guide, so I wanted to mention this). The seller included a poster version of the workout guide and sends a card with the QR code for pulling it up digitally. When you do so, you may encounter a page that says “page not found”, but if you click on the 3 lines at the top left and select “resources”, you can get the workout guide for any/all of the benches that they offer. (I just took screenshots of it to have on my phone too.) They also have video tutorials for assembly (I think that’s at the bottom of the page that says “page not found”. Just scroll down.)The adjustments on this bench are perfect and effortless, the wheels make it so easy to move around, and the foot plates are a great addition for hyperextensions. I have also found ways to use this bench for even more exercises by tying a resistance band to the base. This bench is a great addition to any home gym and for the price, a great value too!Ver másVer menos

Functional, sure, quality? Meh...
Edit: It's been a year, and the only cons I'm still upset about is the foot pedals, and the pin unscrewing, wish I could get the upgraded welded feet. I've added two stars since it's done well the last year, dispite it's imperfections.Original Review:So I got this bench, to go alongside my other bench.If I did this over again, Id spend more to avoid my cons.Pros- The bench is solid and functional- Very Stable- Adjustability- PriceCons- Quality control. The arch on the decent that bolts to the foot tube, is the wrong curvature making a permanent gap. The bench is still solid, but not sure how it will be over time (Picture of the foot)- The Curl/Back extensions pad pin. The welded nut is either not thick enough, or the pin body is too long. Either could fix the issue. But the pin cannot be screwed in all the way otherwise it clamps the assembly from being able to move up and down in positions when the pin is pulled. Since it cannot he screwed in all the way, a few pulls of the spring pin causes it to slowly unthread, and the pin fall out. (Picture of the pin in and out)- The foot pads, just kinda slap on and slide up and down. Should have U brackets at least to retain them on the bar and still spin to the angle the user needs. (Pictures of foot pads on and off)- The bench decline, does not rest in full decline, concerning that the lock fins will bend, due to the bench arm being to short and the weight resting on the lock fins instead of the decent frame(Pictures of the decline arms)Ver másVer menos

Great value
This is not a commercial gym quality item (if you're looking for that, there are other, more expensive benches), but it's fairly close and it's excellent for home use. The metal is a fairly heavy gauge and welds appear to be of good quality, with an excellent finish. The bench is stable and balanced well (I'm over 200 lbs. and have no trouble with it) in the various positions, yet it weighs less than I thought it would.The only negatives are:1. I've seen better assembly instructions. While I was able to assemble the bench without any difficulty, the language could have been more clear, the part names more intuitive, and the drawings a bit small and cluttered. If you're the type of person who prefers to bypass the instructions and try to figure out how the pieces go together on your own, you'll probably be better off because reading the instructions might just add confusion. The company should reconsider their technical writing standards.2. The red, plastic footrests are probably more of a nuisance than a help. They're not attached to the bench--they only sit on top of the bench's support footing--and they're likely to get kicked aside any time you move the bench (or could even get lost). They're not critical to the operation of the bench, but it's an unfortunate cheap element to an otherwise nice design.3. There are no instructions on how to use the bench. I've already used a similar bench and knew exactly how to do so, but some people may purchase this item and not be familiar with the exercises and/or proper techniques. The instruction manual didn't talk about how to actually use the bench--only how to assemble it--and there were no pointers to websites or other resources. This isn't critical--a simple web search can find videos and descriptions of what to do, but the company could have easily provided a link to a web page or video resource. This represents a missed opportunity.Overall, given the price of this item compared to its peers, and given the high overall quality, I'd definitely recommend this product.Ver másVer menos

Good value add to a home gym
Surprised by how sturdy this bench feels for the price. Went together pretty easily, came with tools needed. Good fit for both me and my husband.

Wow! I guess I didn’t know what to expect for the price, but I could not be more impressed with this piece of equipment. The design, the materials and the final product all feel upper-end residential and even lower-end commercial.Instructions were pretty darn good and they included a free workout poster with various workouts that can be done using the bench.Ver másVer menos
