  Phenomenal sound, mind-blowing value for price.

  These are amazing. Truly. I started with the KZ ZSTs as my first pair of in-ears after borrowing my bass player's westones while I shopped for what I wanted. The westones are nice, but dollar for dollar, the KZs blow them out of the water. The sound separation on the AS10s is astonishing. I'm a singer and use these for live events. They're worth every penny x10.My only complaint is the cable--not for quality, but for a "fit" quirk. On the ZSTs you get a cable that has a small wire inside it, allowing you to shape it to your ear as needed. On the AS10s, the ends proximal to the ear are encased in a preformed silicone, so they're molded to a pre-determined shape. There is no altering this shape. It turned out to be fine for my right ear, but my left ear kept falling off. It actually wouldn't have been a problem at all if it had been my right ear, because I like to hear room sound on stage and so I almost always take my right ear out and use only my left. But it was my left, so it was infuriating. It wouldn't stay close around my ear no matter how much i twisted or repositioned or wrapped it in twist ties to force it to a shape that worked. I don't have deformed ears that I know of, but everyone is different so maybe it was just me. Or maybe it was just a slightly off cable. I don't know. But nothing worked, til I purchased an upgrade cable to replace it with. Now they stay on great (and I have an even better sound quality). Sending them back wasn't really an option because I am on stage multiple times a week and I didn't want to be without them AT ALL (because nothing compares, honestly).One thing to note: I got more foam tips to replace my comply tips that were falling apart, but actually found that I prefer the OEM tips with the AS10s (highly recommend foam for the ZSTs though). Here's why: They are all balanced armatures, with no dynamic drivers. Dynamic drivers displace air, and thus require a small hole to let the air move (which also lets sound in--and sound out). Balanced armatures don't displace air, and thus have no hole. As such, there's less noise pollution from outside the ear canal competing with what's coming out of the in-ears, and no bleed from a hole in the in-ear housing itself. So the OEM tips keep the sound isolated well. When I change to the foam tips, I just get a muddier sound, oddly enough. So I stopped using them and went back to the OEM tips.   Clean tight bass, Recessed Mids, Fantastic Highs - A good buy

  Build Quality : Good durable plastic housing, clear shell, I picked up the Cyan AS10 without mic and it is gorgeous looking. Packaging is better than the other KZs. No pouch is included, they could have done away with the metal plate inside the box and given us a good pouch instead.Fit/Ergonomics: I could find a perfect fit with the largest eartip supplied with the package. Passive noise isolation is good, should be great with comply foam tips. It sits pretty in ear without too much protrusion. No discomfort over extended listening (over 3 hours).Cable Quality : As any normal KZ cable - it will last a long while and should withstand abuse. If you want a better one, you can choose the 8-core upgrade cable. The cable length from the Y split to the ears is really long.Sound Quality : Pretty sure all of you reading this review look forward to this section and want to know how this sounds. Here goes my experience with this over 20 days.Bass/Sub Bass rumble : didn't expect boomy bass from this and it is not, but what i got out of the box is a tight, clean, un-muddled bass which does not overpower the other frequencies. There is not much of Sub-bass in this setup, but you can occasionally hear the rumble which makes you smile.Mids : They are kind of laid back (not so forward sounding) as I would like it to be - but does not sound bad at all by any means.Highs: This is where this shines. Though subdued, they offer a very pleasant to the ear high notes and doesn't fatigue your ears over extended periods of time. They are crisp and pleasing and not shrill or harsh.Sound Staging : You can hear different instruments play across various positions in your head :-). The sound stage is reasonably wide, but not deepOverall - It's probably the best sounding KZ earphone till date. You wont ever be disappointed with this. They offer a U-shaped sound signature which i like (KZ generally offers a V-shaped sound)They are really better than the 1More Quad driver by a mile (using these since they launched) . It does not boom like the powerbeats 3(using this since a few months)/pro(had an extended trial from a friend).   Overall: Best value on the internet

  I’ve use these in ear monitors 2-3 times a week for live gigs for about 2 months.I recently got into the world of clicks and In Ear Monitors (IEM) are a must there. So, after getting a $20 set just to get my toes wet, I decided to upgrade. I knew I couldn’t afford the $3k+ IEM I’ve sampled in my experience, but I also knew the sound quality with my entry set was terrible.I needed a good middle of the road set of IEM’s. I’m on a budget, so I began my search for a solid budget friendly set of in ears. KZ has long been known for quality budget, entry level IEM’s, but I hadn’t seen these AS10’s before.As their (current) flagship product, I was impressed from the first images and specs I saw. After learning it boats FIVE Balanced Armature (BA) speakers, I knew I had to try it. Leaving the ‘how it works’ conversation to others, just think of a BA speaker as one programmed to have high quality sound for a certain frequency of sound, vs a Dynamic Driver (traditional speaker) playing all frequency’s pretty good. With 5 BA speakers, you can pretty well cover the entire human hearing range. Having a different speaker to isolate frequencies in the low-med-high ranges, vs forcing one speaker to play them all, makes for a much better overall sound experience. All this to say that this is a feature that you don’t always even find in ‘high end’ in ear monitors. This high end feature at a budget friendly price makes owning a set of quality hardware that much easier for the guy who wants to have good sound and not brake the bank.I’ve only had them for about 2 months so I cannot completely attest to their durability at this time, but I have no reason to doubt that this piece of my equipment will be there for me when I need it for some time to come.I strongly suggest this if you are looking for a good deal on a quality set of IEM’s. I would, however, recommend getting a set of foam tips. This minor upgrade can make any IEM somewhat better. By making a proper seal in the ear canal not only do you gain the highest quality listening experience for the speakers you are using, but you also protect your ear by not only allowing bleed in from outside sound, but also making it so you don’t have to turn your IEM’s anywhere near as loud overall. I usually keep my incoming signal at between 40-50% max volume.Only reason I didn’t give 5 starts for comfort is I have weird shaped ears. They fit inside well enough, but don’t hang comfortably on the outer ear.Nothing but love for all who read this comment.God bless.

  feel solid and well‑built

  I’m really impressed with the KZ AS10 in‑ear monitors. The sound is incredibly clear, with great separation and detail — exactly what you want from multi‑driver IEMs. They feel solid and well‑built, and the detachable braided cable is a nice professional touch. For the price, they deliver way more than I expected. Comfortable fit, strong noise isolation, and excellent audio quality.   Good for the price I guess

  I got these from our reviewer who is an audio file which my self is not an audio file, so I am not sure how to properly give a accurate review on this, however, what I can do that the sound quality I think is decent or actually good because not only is it loud and clear, but it also makes bad mics or bad audio sound even worse.I don't like is that it actually gets uncomfortable to quickly overtime when it rest in your ears but overall it's decentVer másVer menos

  Really great in-ear monitors at a great price

  This is my 3rd purchase of these in-ear monitors. I have 2 pair myself and purchased a 3rd for a good friend.They sound great! I did order some different tips that are more comfortable for me. I use them daily and eventually had to replace a cable. The replacement cable is of noticeably better quality. I'm very happy with them and highly recommend.Ver másVer menos
