We strongly recommend buy Airdual for car iPod connector. [WORKS WITH VOICE COMMANDS]: Pair our bluetooth receiver with your Echo Dot via Bluetooth on the Alexa app, it is easy to control your music with voice commands by Echo Dot. [ROBUST ALUMINIUM SHELL DESIGN]: Elegant and Simplism, Better Sturdy 30 pin Plug. Aluminium shell design makes nice tactile. Absolutely perfect initial impression
First impression: this does EXACTLY what I wanted. I have a Philips boom box, built in 2011, with an iPod dock (30 pin connector). The boom box was not listed as supported or unsupported, so I thought I had a 50/50 chance this would work. Either way, this was way less expensive than a Bluetooth speaker of equivalent sound quality. So I gave it a try. When I plugged it into the dock, the boom box immediately recognized it as an iPod. I paired it with my phone, and it worked perfectly!! When I had a phone with a lightning connector, I used a converter cable. This device generates noticeably better sound quality than I got with the converter cable.Bottom line, my initial experience was perfect.Ver másVer menos

The Perfect Upgrade for My Old Apple SoundDock
I still have my old Apple SoundDock from around 2005, and even though it's been sitting around for years, it still sounds surprisingly good. The only problem was that it was designed for the old 30-pin iPods and iPhones, so I couldn't use it with my current iPhone anymore. I found this adapter while searching for a solution and decided to give it a try. I'm really glad I did because it worked exactly the way I hoped it would. I paired it with my iPhone, opened Spotify, and within a couple of minutes I was streaming music wirelessly through the SoundDock. The Bluetooth connection has been solid, the audio quality is excellent, and I honestly forget the adapter is even there. It's nice being able to enjoy a speaker I already own instead of replacing it with something new. If you have an older Apple SoundDock or one of the compatible Bose docking speakers, this is an easy way to make it useful again. Looking back, I wish I had found this years ago because it saved a great speaker from collecting dust.Ver másVer menos

Works well
Works with the iPod dock on my Sony LBT-ZX66i (2009). Also synchs with the Bluetooth connection on my Samsung TV.

Plug, pair, and play.
Works very well and brings old tech to life. This product has no downside. Oh, when the slider button is to the left, the device is on. Great sound.

Just get this
Are you like me and still have some older Apple 30 pin devices that still work and would like to be able to be able to use it with today's technology? Whelp, this thing is pretty good. It's only bluetooth 5.0 and yes there is a competitive product that is sleeker and has bluetooth 5.3 but this one sounds better, at least in my system. So the sound is going to be subjecive as everyone's ears and system is different but comparing this and the competitive product, this one hands down sounds better in my system. It has deeper bass response, the highs have more sparkle, and the mids have a little magic to them. I by no means have an audiophile system, remember this is a 30 pin device, so what does that tell you? I'm using older equipment, I am using a yamaha rx863v receiver, yamaha 30 pin dock, Monster M series RCA, Emotiva XPA-2 gen 1 amplifier, Monster 15ft Z2 biwire speaker cables, B&W 604s2. The bass is incredible, no it doesn't dig deep enough to do away with a sub, but it gets down fairly low. Low enough that if you don't have a comparable sub, you will still enjoy the bass. Mids are very pronounced and come through loud and clear, not excessively in your face, but the vocals come through without being held back. The highs have the sparkle, it sizzles and dazzles without being harsh. You won't get fatigued, listening it.So if you like good sound and want a way to bring your old 30 pin stuff back into service, just get this. As a bonus feature, it does offer a headphone jack output unlike it's sleek competitor.I only gave it 4 stars because it's not compatible with my Bowers Wilkins ZeppelinVer másVer menos
