Lil cuff works like a charm with the Contec08A-VET machine
I didn’t know what I was doing, Bizzy-Bee basically knew that, she gave me a good 3-4mins and couple serious eye rolls before she had enough and walked off..couldn’t get a reading. I sat there defeated, I couldn’t get the enormous ‘neonatal’ cuff that comes with Contec08A-VET machine (Amazon sells, good machine just unworkable cuff for my cat) to work. I mean seriously? Doesn’t wrap fully around, looong tail, made for neonatal lion?Ok deep breath, searched and found awesome website below..how to use these SunTech vet cuffs, how to convert to my machine and generally good info on how to take a cats BP and feel like I hit jackpot.https://felinedm.com/tips-tricks-and-how-to-do-stuff/blood-pressure-monitoring/Expensive? hellz yea, do I need all the sizes? hellz no, but the I have the exact one I need, converted easily and working like a charm. My Bizzy Bee lays on the bed while I give her head rubs and check her BP and we have successfully gone from 195-200 range to 155-160 after 3 weeks on Amlodipine. No more scary seizures, I thank god for that, and I am able to keep my vet updated and have peace of mind.Ver másVer menos
