Good collection
Alot of good commons 4x but the rares were lacking…definitely worth the price I think…some nice multi color lands

Gambit's Dream Deal! Throwaway Cards!
So, I decided to get back into magic after 25 years. I figured there was a lot to catch up on. So why not buy a box of common cards for 20 bucks? Seems logical, right? You get eras of magic in just one box.However, I soon discovered this was how you sell wallpaper. I got hundreds of lands that don't produce mana or enter the battlefield tapped. The coolest one was "evolving wilds". Which they gave me nearly one-hundred of. It has been a long time since I played, and I wanted to make sure the rules haven't changed a ton. Turns out, you can only have four of any non-basic land. I know. It shocked me, as well.These fellas want me to make 25 decks from this set!! The only problem is that nearly everything else was a duplicate over 20. If only a fifth of the cards had been cards I could use more than four of, I could build a deck that used mana on the first two turns (who would want that?), I would have likely had a more useful deck building opportunity by asking a card shop to let me have the cards they were throwing away.There's still a chance that I'm a mutant with the ability to charge cards with energy, though. Charles is taking his sweet time with it, though. Oh and here is the count of cards. Thank goodness most of them are worth two cents, or it would have been a bad investment. Anybody need ninety Evolving Wilds? I will give you a deal.... Wayyyyyy better than expected
Not sure if I got lucky or they're all like this, but I'm 3/4 of the way through cataloging the box and I've made my money back and then some, and it's not even close. Lots of good, playable cards, cool classic sets, and few duplicates. Only 6 international cards and some un-set cards that I'm not interested in, but understand that others are. Will try my hand at another one soon!Ver másVer menos

ok. not bad for a starter collection, but i have some thoughts.not as many copies as i thought i would get, which is good. the most was maybe 6 for one card, and artifact creatures had the most copies out of any color. and 2 of those copies were in Korean, lol. also got a red creature in French, lol. overall the majority of them are unique.only two legendries, and the non basic lands i got all have the same ability when they enter. so it would have been nice for a bit more variety there.there were 11 foils and i assume rares in a separate clear package. found another foil in with the bulk as i was looking through them.in order of most to least it was: red, green, white, black, blue. blue was the most noticeably shorter stack, but they were all surprisingly close in amount.the oldest card was from 94, the newest card was from the 2021 core set. in fact, at least a fourth of the box was from the 2021 core set, meaning no cards from any set released in the last five years were in this. that feels very odd and disappointing, and is probably the reason i won't be buying this box of cards again.Ver másVer menos

35 Copies of a SINGLE CARD! 2 Lands Total, 5 Foils Total, 3 Rares Total Out of 1,045 Cards.
This was a bit of a miss. I had no hope for anything super cool, but I had hope for lands, a mix of cheap foils and more uncommon. I had 5 foils, 3 of them were not duplicates. I had 2 lands. I was reallllllly upset about the 35 copies of one card. And how many copies of 8 and 7 I had. Those were just unexpected. I figured up to 4 copies for a card was going to be the average.617 cards are duplicates, and large ones at that. Listed below are all duplicates that have 4 or more of the same card. One card even had 35 copies of it. The does mean there are 400 ish cards that are singles. I received 3 foils out of the 1000. Those were x2 Duel for Dominance, x2 Mnemonic Sphere, and x1 Mirrorshell Crab. I received around 957 commons, 84 uncommons, 3 rares (Dungeon Geists, Thousand Winds, Titan of Eternal Fire), and 1 special (Faceless One).
