  A solid watch at a solid price.

  This watch is so worth the money. It's durable and useful without a bunch of extra junk you don't need. Casio is a classic for a reason. You get a great watch at a great price that you can wear every single day. It does just enough to be functional and extremely useful. I'd recommend it to anyone.Ver másVer menos

  Nearly the perfect watch

  Band size: 18mmIf you can only have one watch, this is the watch I'd pick. It keeps very accurate time and can last decades of abuse, wear and water. You can also polish the face and shroud with abrasive toothpaste or fine compound if you get scratches over the years that build up.This is what every watch should be. Simple, easy to use, affordable and reliable.I've washed this in the shower, sink and worn it in the rain and have never had water ingress. I wouldn't recommend swimming every day with it or anything, as water CAN evaporate into the housing, but it's fairly easy to disassemble to clean and dry.Here are the cons:- Get yourself a better watch band. The one that it comes with will degrade from skin oils over the years and eventually break. I prefer fabric straps like nylon bands or hook & loop.- Be careful about storing or using this in temperatures below 30F / -1C. I like it really cold in my bedroom and sometimes the watch can reset at these temperatures. When warmed by your wrist, it can still happen on occasion in very cold environments, such as when riding a bike in cold weather.   Best watch ever

  I picked up the Casio F-108WH on a whim, and honestly, it’s one of the best purchases I’ve made. The watch is super lightweight and comfortable, but still feels tough enough to handle everyday wear and tear. The digital display is clear and easy to read, and I love that it has all the basics covered—alarm, stopwatch, 12/24-hour format, and even the day and date. The LED backlight is surprisingly bright and makes it easy to check the time at night. Best part? The battery lasts around 7 years, so I don’t have to worry about changing it anytime soon.   Great shower watch! But not for skating

  I bought this watch so that I can wear it in the shower and while swimming without issues (although I haven’t done the latter yet). Yes, I’m the type of person who likes to know what time it is in the shower. I read the instruction manual and it says not to turn the light on while under water. I have made sure to follow that tip and so far, the watch is as good as new after daily use for several months. The only thing I’ve noticed is that the words “Illumination” and “Water resistant” have faded a bit on the outer shell. Highly recommend this watch if you want something effective, durable, and don’t need smart features. I had a Fitbit (now dead), but now that I know my sleep patterns are fine, I no longer see a need to replace it with another Fitbit.Edit, April 2025: the strap broke off while wearing skate wrist guards :( This isn’t a new setup, so I’m not sure why today was the day the strap decided to come off. I don’t see any pins on the strap or watch face to snap it back into place. Maybe my daily wear contributed to this, but I’d hope not! I always make sure to loosen the strap a couple notches before skating, so it can sit above my wrist guards. RIP, watchVer másVer menos

  The Same Watch I Had in the 80’s

  I have a number of watches, both expensive and inexpensive, and this is now my everyday watch. I bought it originally for keeping time when I go fishing, but now it’s a basic work watch. I’m a financial professional, but since Covid I meet all my clients via Zoom, so I don’t even wear my nice watches anymore unless there’s that slight chance I actually have to meet a client in person. Also, we live out in a rural area, and its perfect for all the country living chores I need to do.It is literally the same watch I had in the 7th grade.I used to be allergic to these watch bands in the past, but I either take it off enough or the material may be different because I don’t get rashes from this watch band. I get all kinds of allergic reactions to stuff (mostly ragweed) so that saying a lot.This watch is inexpensive, but not cheap. Very nice crystal that’s withstood hours on a boat and on shore, hours in a workshop and hours doing labor work. It’s a nice, slim design that doesn’t catch on clothing.People say that’s it’s so cheap you wouldn’t be sad if something happened to it but I gotta say, I would be sad. My original one I had in the 7th grade got stolen. I got it back (because the kid wore it to school) and I can’t remember what happened to it. See? Sad!I highly recommend this old-school, basic, wonderful little watch. Use it for everything and enjoy the simplicity and real good design.Ver másVer menos
