Good for top and bottom braces
I bought a few mouthguards for my son who plays lacrosse. He recently got braces on his top and bottom teeth so I needed to find him a new mouthguard. I bought this one and the Shock Doctor Convertible Ultra Braces one. This one covers both the top and bottom braces / teeth, the convertible ultra one just covers the top teeth. This one is bigger than the ultra but at thirteen, it fits him and he wears it comfortably. He is not a big kid and it still fits well. It is made of very soft and supple silicone. Even though this one is not as streamlined as the convertible ultra one, he chose it over the convertible ultra as it was comfortable, easy to wear and offered better protection against the errant stick or ball. Great for braces
I got this for my 14 year old son who plays football and has braces. It's great - fits well and seems to really protect his mouth. He has no problem closing his mouth when wearing it, and it covers his braces comfortably. The shipment came quickly too! We've already purchased this product twice (for 2 different football seasons) and are very satisfied with everything. We will definitely get this again for next year's season!Ver másVer menos

Best mouthpiece for braces
Hands down the best for upper and lower braces! It does take getting used to and to get broke in so I recommend wearing it prior to the day you need it! My son says it is hard to breathe in at first and it causes his lips to dry out until he breaks it in. None of my boys have had broken brackets with these!!Ver másVer menos

Good for kids with braces playing football
Kid with top and bottom braces uses it for High School Football. He loves it. Says it's comfortable.

Another Use for this Guard
As an adult with braces who grinds their teeth at night, it has been difficult to find something that relieves the grinding.I found this mouth guard used for sports and purchased it. While it covers the top and bottom of your teeth, it wasn't something I could wear at night.I decided to cut it in half. This works like a champ. While it is bulky, it's still very comfortable to wear at night. I also use another, much smaller guard that also works, but this one is my go-to product.Ver másVer menos
