Perfect if the band did not brake
Broken Wrist BandHey the watch is so good, this is my third. Like other reviewers out there, I have the same issue, like clockwork, the band snaps at the same place every two years. Still well worth it, the watch is just exactly what I need, never has failed me.Please Casio, do something about the band. And/or a nice leather replacement strap would go a long way : that watch with a non-rubber band, leather or cord or nylon would look very good. Hope they keep the model produced because.... Nice watch!
The thing that I like most about this watch is how it looks different from all my other Casio digital watches. Besides the basic time, alarm and stopwatch features, it also has a dual time mode for a second time or time zone.

Casio Can Do!
This is a great wristwatch that's simple to operate and harkens back to the days when watches just told the time. As part of my digital detox strategy, I've furloughed my smartwatch for a while so that I can go about the day without the constant bombardment of notifications and prompts to log exercise routines and perform other tasks. The Casio W96H-1BV (catchy name there, for sure) doesn't even feel like it's on my arm most of the time, as it is an unobtrusive and reliable single purpose device. It's one of the few non app enabled timepieces I've found that displays the full date, including the year, which for me is a big plus; many display only the day of the week (SU-SA) and the day of the month (e.g. 22), without including the month. Although I was expecting it to be somewhat larger, this watch's display is quite readable, even in bright sunlight. The backlight is rather dim, however, and I would have preferred an EL (electroluminescent) display for viewing the time in dim or dark environments. Overall, I am quite pleased with this product because it's there when I need it and it leaves me alone. The fact that it's not so "smart" really makes it rather "smart" in my view.Ver másVer menos

Practical, no-nonsense watch for everyday use
This is a straightforward, budget-friendly watch that has quickly become my go-to for outdoor activities like bike repairs or rides. Despite its simplicity, it's reliable and has a decent aesthetic. The case size is slightly larger compared to other digital watches I've tried, which works in its favor. Even on my skinny wrist, the typical 37-inch watches appear too small, but this one fits just right.This watch also has useful features like GMT-like functionality, which allows for setting a different time zone, a timer, and possibly more. The plastic strap, while comfortable, is a bit too long for my liking, but that's a minor quibble.Overall, I'm happy with this purchase.
