Fun Books with a Great Deal of Lore
Mine arrived in pristine shape and in short order. :)I was a little concerned about the books after reading one review that called them kiddie books, but that isn't the case based on what I've read thus far. I'd say they're comfortable reading for young adults or adults. Nice construction with heavy paper also.As far as content, there's a good deal of lore about the Jedi and Sith in their respective books. History, philosophy, etc... There are some basic descriptions of Force techniques, Sith Alchemy and such but no actual training guides there. That would be kind of silly anyway. Lightsaber fighting styles are discussed in the Jedi book, but only in general detail. Again, the author is trying to provide overviews though, not in-depth analysis.I *assume* since these are officially licensed products that the lore is Disney-era official canon. If I were more of a lore nazi playing SWTOR, I'd have a better idea if Darth Malgus's history is accurate at least.If you're a fan, I'd say these are worth picking up. Even more so if you write fan fiction or dream of writing officially licensed novels. You'll end up with a little better understanding of Jedi and Sith, and have a fun read as well.Ver másVer menos
