A class above the rest
TLDR: I've tried several other products, and this one has held up the best!I have experience with numerous 2-in-1 USB C to 3.5mm audio adapters. There was a time when i was buying 4 or 5 of them a year because they would go bad so quickly. The biggest issues i've experienced with other brands has been either (a) audio interference when you also have power plugged in, or (b) the cables themselves becoming shorted out. This product is more durable than any other i've tried. It also has great playback quality with no weird interference, buzzing, etc. The magnet function is actually helpful (not just a gimmick) - i think its part of what kept these wires from shorting out for so long. Because of the way i use these (listening to audio all night every night while sleeping), they all do eventually wear out. But this one easily lasted 5 times as long as any otherVer másVer menos

100 percent recommend for long audio sessions!
Whether it is in the car, office, or at home, if you use a 3.5mm dongle for audio these days, the struggle of running on battery because the ONE usb C port on your device is occupied by a dongle is infuriating. Magnetic charging is kind of a solution, but I like to avoid it when I can due to battery heating issues on some phones with cases. This device makes all of that go away. The DAC on this is not going to set the world on fire. It will drive most IEMs or car stereo systems. Don't expect audiophile grade audio here, but the value for money and the lifesaving feature of being able to wired charge and listen to music is amazing. There is no noticeable noise I can hear from the power cord even on sensitive IEMs, and that's what sets this device apart from other cheaper options. Good build quality that doesn't get hot while charging. 100 percent recommend if you're in the market for this type of dongle.Ver másVer menos

Great little device, sounds good, and is convenient.
So far I've had no problem using this. I'm able to charge my phone while using it as a poor-man's DAC to play music through my old stereo system. The connection is stable and I haven't heard any popping, hiss, etc. I know this isn't an audiophile device, but neither is a smartphone. This sure beats the hell out of Bluetooth though, and you can still charge your phone. I've been thinking of using an old phone as a dedicated media storage device until I get an actual dedicated one.The design is very durable and the components are housed in metal housings. Magnets are built into them which holds the two ends together, which is more handy than I originally thought. Old stereo systems can become a mess of wires pretty quickly and when you include a 2.5mm to 1/4" adapter to connect the old stereo-in plug to the amp it's a lot. This little device is perfect for my needs. I haven't noticed any heating issues but I have a dedicated amp. I'm using this as an adapter and I don't know how it would perform if you tried to power speakers directly.I think the value is great and the shipping was fast enough that I didn't move on to another project for a few weeks. It's a great buy and already paid for itself. I'm using VLC on my phone (free) to play my mp3 files, but you can use whatever you like if you don't care about owning music.Ver másVer menos

Handy 2-in-1 Adapter That Lets Me Charge and Listen Without Drama
I bought this UGREEN Magnetic USB C to 3.5mm Audio Adapter because my phone doesn't have a headphone jack anymore, and I wanted to use my wired earbuds while keeping the battery topped up during long calls or commutes. I expected decent sound, reliable fast charging, and a connection that wouldn't break easily from daily use. It mostly checked those boxes, though it's not flawless for every setup. The magnetic design snaps on solidly and feels more durable than regular dongles – the braided cable helps with that too. It supports PD 60W charging so my phone powers up quick even while playing music, and the Hi-Res DAC delivers clear audio without much noise for calls, podcasts, or tunes. The aluminum build stays cool and it's small enough to toss in a bag. Works with my iPhone, Galaxy, and Switch for gaming with headphones. Practical for travel or desk use when I don't want Bluetooth latency.Pros: Magnetic connection is convenient and sturdy, good sound quality for the price, solid charging speeds, and it handles listening plus charging at the same time nicely. Value for money feels right since it solves two problems in one compact piece. Cons: It doesn't support mic on some headphones or data transfer, and the magnetic part might not be as strong if you tug hard. A few folks mentioned slight compatibility quirks with certain cases or devices.I got it hoping for a simple way to keep using my favorite wired gear without draining the battery fast, and it met my expectations by delivering reliable performance for daily practical needs. No big audio drops or charging slowdowns in normal use. If you're in the same boat with jackless phones, it's a solid everyday tool.Ver másVer menos

Durable great sound
Overall, this is a fantastic product for those wishing to have an aux port while being able to charge their phone. It works amazing still after having bought this product back in August of 2024. This has survived being unplugged and plugged back in a multitude of times. This will occasionally have a small humming sound due to the charging if not consistent such as in a vehicle having the engine rev up and down you will occasionally hear that. Overall however, this is a fantastic product for the price and delivers audio that I was hoping for while still being able to quickly charge my phone if needed. The other nicety is not having to worry about the what ifs of a wireless headphones. The what if I forgot to charge it or having to pay for that more expensive headphones. Furthermore, it is nice to have just to connect to a car if it does have an aux port. Another use case is using it to connect to a stereo system to play music if you do not have one that has Bluetooth functionality.Ver másVer menos

Non stop usage of earphones
Great for non stop earphone use. No charging every 4 or 5 hours. I can listen to music and never charge my earphones. So great
