Capable and quiet little office fridge

If you are not familiar with Amazon Vine, it is basically Amazon trading free* products for honest reviews. I do my best to make my reviews honest, real and value-oriented as if I had paid for each item I receive.* These items are not totally free as Vine members pay income tax on the items they receive. I only mention this because we Viners do have some skin in the game for each item we order. Why I ordered this item: I needed something small for my home office. I keep drinks at my desk and I was tired of walking to the kitchen every time I wanted something cold. I wanted something that wouldn't hum loud enough to distract me while I'm on calls.Likes:* It cools down fast. I had a warm can of soda in there and it was cold in maybe 30 minutes. The thermostat dial has seven settings and I've been running it around the middle.* I'm on video calls all day and I can't hear this thing running. My old mini fridge made this weird cycling hum that showed up on my microphone; this one is just silent.* My desk is in a corner and I needed the door to swing left. I flipped the hinge and it took me maybe 10 minutes.* It's snazzy looking for a budget mini fridge. The black finish is clean and it doesn't look cheap sitting next to my monitor. No likes:* The size is pretty limiting. It fits maybe 10 or 12 cans if you stack them right. Not complaining about that exactly, the listing is upfront about it, but its worth knowing going in.* There's no freezer compartment at all. Not even a little cold plate at the top. If you want to keep anything frozen, this is the wrong fridge.Would I pay full price for this product: YesFinal thoughts: This is a zippy little cooler for a desk or a nightstand.Ver másVer menos

Super-Convenient Mini Fridge Is Perfect For My Bedroom

I bought this mini-fridge to keep upstairs in my bedroom. Almost every night I wake up at some point wanting a cold water to drink. I have been trudging down the hallway, down the stairs, into the kitchen and to the fridge just to get one. It’s not a long walk or anything, but I would rather just be able to grab one, take a gulp, and get right back to sleep. Another advantage of having this Electactic fridge is that it can hold more than just water. My wife works from home and is based upstairs near the bedroom. During her work day, instead of coming downstairs for a glass of milk or some fruit, she can now walk to the bedroom to get these items. This is very convenient for her as she has a chronic pain condition and getting up and down the stairs is very inconvenient and painful for her. This Electactic mini fridge has been working wonderfully thus far, as it presents a lot of options that I never had before. This fridge is small as it measures 17.1 x 17.5 x 18.75 inches tall. It has a 1.6 cubic foot capacity. Instead of lining the fridge completely with sodas or waters, there is enough room for refrigerated snacks like yogurt, or fruit. It even gets cold enough inside the unit to keep my diabetic cat’s insulin as it stays as low as 32 degrees Inside the fridge.I have purchased several small Electactic appliances, and this small mini fridge is just as awesome as all of the other items I have gotten. The $145 price is an amazing value, and very much worth the price. It is easy to setup and use, and I am ecstatic that I have purchased it. I feel with proper handling and care, this will be a very durable appliance for many years to come.Title of the item I am reviewing:Electactic 1.6 Cu.ft Mini Fridge – Compact Reversible Door Refrigerator with Adjustable Thermostat, Ultra-Quiet Operation, Ideal for Office, Dorm, Bedroom, Apartment (Black)Ver másVer menos

  Height is indeed 18.7

The height includes the feet. However, even if you take them off the height will not be any less. There is a bracket with screws on the bottom that keeps the height the same

  Small, but mighty refrigerator

This was a nice surprise for us. We chose to use it as a medication and Ensure storage for the bedroom, saving us a trip to the refrigerator downstairs.PROS:--Perfect size for a bedroom med refrigerator--Black finish is appealing and matches everything. Protective cover on the entire thing you have to peel off--Comes with instructions for operation and to change the door to open the opposite way if you need (looks easy on the instructions)--Different setting for coldness - seems to hold the temperature well.--Has a small freezer type area on top (very small) that is called a "chiller compartment" on the directions--Runs quietly, we can hardly hear it, even when cooling--So far it is working well - insulin is keeping very well, and the ensure and water is chilled to our liking.CONS:--It is small and compact - might not be big enough for what you want--We first had it on the floor but its small size made it difficult to get into, therefore we elevated on a small table because it was just too low sitting on the floor.Overall, I gave it 5 stars. The price is reasonable $144.99 at the time of purchase and $119.99 at the time of the reviewVer másVer menos

Great mini fridge similar to the ones you find in a hotel room

Very handy mini fridge that does what you would expect it to. This is the same style of refrigerator found in thousands of hotel rooms. Large enough to hold some beverages, some food, etc. but not large enough to function as a main refrigerator. It has a number of nice design features. In the middle of the central cooling section, there is a removable plastic tray and half shelf. The door has two different levels for additional storage and the railing that holds items in place is also removable. In terms of exterior measurments, it is 17 ‘ wide by 17” long and around 18 1/2 inches tall. The inside of the fridge is approx 15 inches wide inside by 15 inches tall inside. The depth has two measurments since it is deeper at the upper half (13 inches) and shallower at the lower half (8 inches). I have taken a bunch of photos, inside and out. The door is also reversible which is a nice feature depending on where you are putting it. It cools nicely and has an adjustable thermostat controlled by a dial in the upper inside corner. See multiple pics.Ver másVer menos
