Great hardware! A lot to love about the machine. Complete fail on support.
The laptop is surprisingly good! It's not the greatest power house and not for high end gaming but I've tried some online and some MMORP games that were smooth as silk. I didn't have settings at their highest but the screen is big and beautiful so it's really a fine system.This is the first machine I've owned that didn't have a power supply other than a usb C. That's interesting and probably something that is coming on strong. Not having a brick power supply is pretty nice.The touchpad is large and includes a fingerprint sensor in the top left. It works just fine and is actually functional and convenient.The keyboard is backlit and I like it but it goes dark very quickly if you aren't typing. Number pad is pretty standard and the keys themselves are pleasant enough.Wifi and bluetooth work as they should and connections were easy with no problems at all. Wifi and bluetooth stay connected and stable which is always a plus.With a total of 5 usb connections (one of the C ports is used for power) it's really great for accessories and it makes the portability factor awesome. If you travel and hate running out of ports and needing a hub then this laptop is a hero.The machine is super quiet and never seems to get very hot. It's a pleasure to use without needing a cooling pad.Expandabilty is amazing on this machine. Serously huge potential for RAM and SSD expansion. I maxed out on both and it's amazingly fast in general. Nothing work related even slows it down.I love this machine, it's extremely functional without breaking the bank. I bought one for my son in college and he loves it as well. I'd recommend this machine to anyone that isn't in CAD related endeavors.Nothing in life is perfect and while the hardware here is great, the support is terrible. If you're not someone that needs support or a helpline then this one is great, if you do need support it doesn't get much worse.The biggest problem with the laptop is the completely sad documentation and support system. Don't expect anything from the the support system because it's 100% useless and apparently not based in English so they don't answer their tech requests in anything but the most general and not helpful ways. They sent me links to videos that had literally nothing to do with my questions. BAD. BAD. BAD. They really suck for support.Ver másVer menos
