Incredible, Solid, and Easily Transportable. A Product I Would Not Want To Live Without Now.
Incredible product. Much more solidly built than I had expected.I purchased this because my 2017 MacBook Pro I-7 would warm up considerably during heavy work (I am a data scientist and push the machine to crunch very large sets before I move a project over to AWS for its computing power). This product was more than I expected. It is light weight, strong, and folds conveniently into a size that fits in an outer pocket of my backpack, thus I carry it with me wherever I go. Even when I am not crunching numbers, I place my Mac on it. The typing angle is perfect for long coding sessions and makes my hands feel much better.The item does adjust for the size of the laptop. My MacBook Pro is a 15 inch, but my ASUS laptop is a 17 inch. With a quick turn of the pressure dial on two of the legs, the X-stand adjusts between my Mac and ASUS so that each has a SOLID platform to rest on. And the room below the machines is ample to provide good airflow to keep the machines cooler.I wholeheartedly and enthusiastically recommend the X-Stand, especially if your "office" is more often on your back and your workstation is any desk surface you can find like mine tends to be. It conveniently folds into a small size and provides an adjustable, solid platform to air your laptop. I may purchase additional ones so for when (as too often happens) this great product is discontinued - should it every be - or for holiday gifts for my other geek friends.Ver másVer menos
