  It keeps it dark.

  At first glance I was confused because I didn’t realize it was plastic. Works so well with the Velcro so that you can open the window if needed. We’re not allowed to cover the windows so I placed it over the blinds so it’s not noticeable from the outside. Then I put knock out curtains over it.   Completely Blocks Light—Works Perfectly!

  These blackout curtains work really well! They completely block out sunlight and make the room very dark, which is perfect for sleeping during the day. The hook and loop strips make installation super easy and adjustable. I also like that they are portable, so you can use them for travel or different rooms.   Literal Godsends for Migraine sufferers!

  Pair these with double-sided Velcro & you've blacked out every micron of light in your room. So impressed with the quality of this shade. I can't speak to the quality of the adhesive it came with, as I bought additional Velcro, knowing full well I planned to belt down every inch of this bad boy... But the blinds work as good (if not better) than advertised & I'm going to get more for other rooms in my house. (I live in Arizona...) & These are saving me significantly on my energy bill! Super easy to cut to fit to any size I needed! I was surprised how well they worked, for how LIGHTWEIGHT they were! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Ver másVer menos

  Effective but somewhat piscatory

  Easy to put up, no problem with the Velcro, blocked light well. However, the material had a strong fishy smell. I would recommend airing these bad boys out for a while outside before hanging them up indoors unless you want to have strange dreams about the sea.

  Blocks out the Sun & Heat

  Amazingly effective. Great instructions easy to follow. Easy to cut and install. Used on my RV driver & passenger side 'UPPER' windows. Super light, 100% blocks out the sun glare!   Difficult to measure and cut, velcro tabs adhesive peels off window from heat, not multilayered

  The material is not multi-layered as shown. The description says 4 x layers when really there are 2 at best. Measuring and cutting was a huge pain since there is no kind of grid to help guide you. I had to cut this 100 x 58 sheet down to 82 x 46. It took me over an hour to carefully, measure, mark and cut the sheet and even with my effort it wasn't a fully straight rectangle. I put it up anyway because it was good enough. Then the heat came in and when I returned to the window I found the adhesive melted off, the whole thing had fallen down. This left a melted mess on my window. I put up more of the velcro adhesives and during the heat of any given day, they all still keep melting off. Suction cups would've made more sense than sticky adhesive velcro pieces. Decent, cheaper, temporary alternative to blackout and stop the greenhouse effect vs. buying full blinds. But other than that I don't recommend it.Ver másVer menos
