Can occasionally produce decent images, but mostly frustrating for framing, poor image quality

I think the recent trend of lo-fi vintage asthetic photos has probably reached peak. I was initially pretty excited to try out this new camera. There have been a few other cameras on the market without a screen and just using a frame for a viewfinder. This Godox C100 ups the the ante a bit with a transparent LCD panel that can change displayed information with modes. However, none of these types of cameras can display images that are taken. There's an included USB C to C cable that you use to transfer images/video to your computer or phone. Essentially, this is pretty much a fixed focus 2mp webcam with no controls and horrendous dynamic range.The controls are simple, but maybe a bit too simple. In Photo/Video mode, only the left and right arrows work and just change the aspect ratio...the framing marks change accordingly. However, this is one of the biggest issues with the C100. Depedending on how close you hold the viewfinder to you eye, the field of view will be different. After a lot of trial and error, I figured out that you have to hold your arm with your elbow bent about 45 deg and look through with one eye to frame it as close to what you want to actually capture. But since you really can't tell, or check, you have to frame pretty loosely. The worse part is that since the lens if fixed focus, it seems like the closest it can focus is somewhere around ~4ft (seems like just a little further away than normal 1m/39" of most point and shoots) away...which is too far away take a portrait of someone...at least without a ton of wasted space around the image. The other issue is that they images are only 2MP, so you get a 1920x1080 image that you pretty much can't crop due to the poor image quality. Video is similarly poor and recorded in .MOV format, so not space efficient. I took two images of the same playground within 1 second of each other, but the exposure and colors are totally different. So what you get will likely be a crapshoot. I guess if you're into lomography, then it might be your thing.Which gets into the last mode, not sure how useful it would be considering the random exposures I was getting in photo mode, which is a light meter mode. This is where the center button has a use and allows you to select ISO and then either highlight Aperture or Shutter Speed to change the EV values with the left/right buttons after you take a meter reading with the shutter button. Luckily with film, you there is pretty wide exposure latitude, so being super precise is not that important.As a pretty serious photographer, take my comments with a grain of salt. It's frustrating for someone that knows what they want in an image, but not being able to control any of it with this C100. There are times when I love point & shoots for being in the moment and enjoying the experience, but I can't even trust this camera to capture those moments. As a toy to mess around with it is unique in the picture taking experience. My last big gripe is that you can't set the date and time so it makes it hard for me to organize it by date...which is how I organize my 80,000-ish image library. There's also no EXIF data on exposure or camera type in the jpeg files. I'm sure here are people out there who like blurry images and this lo-fi look, so I think there probably is a maket for this camera. It's just not for me.
