Fast, reliable, and oh so cool!

This thing has incredible speed and reliability and it feels solid and well constructed. It does the job and does it well. I don’t mess around when my data is on the line. It's pricey, but you get what you pay for. If it fits in the budget and it's large enough for your needs, this is the one you want.Ver másVer menos

It's pretty fast, and smaller now

I was surprised with how much smaller it is now. The speed was very fast. I bought it to transfer files from some Win 7 machines to new Win 11 machines, and was amazed at how fast it ran on some old computers from 2011. Compared to the old one, it feels cheaper, like the front cover is plastic now instead of that nice rubber. The backside has the nice rubber feel at least. But I guess for the hard core, one can now have two of these in the pocket versus one. It's much lighter as well, like 1/3 the weight from the previous version, so that means hanging these off a tower units vertical oriented USB port is less risky of disconnecting if your using a short 6" cord. I like the metal from the previous generation. As far as heat goes, never really got hot on me at all and ran pretty cool during the file transfer. For me personally, I don't use these to run jobs off of directly, so I can't say just how hot it will get with video editing or something like that. I just use them to store customer software projects on, as long term storage devices, for when I shelf a project. I'm not a 100% thrilled with it yet, but not disappointed either.Ver másVer menos

  Excellent product

It's an excellent product. Its size and durability are both great. It's the fastest data transfer speed I've ever experienced, it's the best purchase I've made in years!

  Great backup

Smaller dimension wise which i love because it’ll fit in a pocket. Super light and could probably even put it on a keychain. Easy to set up. Good price.

  Great little SSD!

I bought two (2) of these for my Mac Photos and backup. Time Machine also backs it up. They are compact, fast , and easy to use. Great product, though a bit pricey…but, it’s a fast little SSD!!!
