VEry flattering colors for a fair complexion - I can do my entire look with this one set
This has a really pretty presentation, and the products are generally great quality - some of these I really love! For instance, I love the pressed powder. It's got great coverage and works very well for my fair neutral skin. It's comfortable and flattering- and I would buy it separately again! I also really like the mascara, which does a great job coloring and definining my thin long lashes - and it doesn't flake or smudge or wear off. it's very long wearing and it doesn't irritate my eyes! I don't like a LOT of mascaras, but this one is VERY good.There's also a brow mascara that is tremendous for lighter colored brows- that is not an easy thing to find. It works well, colors and defines, but doesn't make my brows fill stiff or heavy. I put it on, it works and I don't notice it.Out of the 24 little boxes that I received, there was only a couple that I wasn't just delighted with, and I am not a big fan of the 'blush' brush. The little velvet heart shaped puff applicator works much better for putting on the blush. the regular long handled blush brush just doesn't pick up enough powder and when it does, it just deposits it all in the same spot. The eye shadow brush is nice though it has a great edge for using shadow as liner, and it picks up the eye shadow well. There is a shadow compact that is very glittery and I don't care for it - that sort of thing irritates my eyes, but younger women might like it for parties and nights out.The lip glosses work well - there's a couple in my set that are shaped like little hearts. They are small but fun, and great for a purse. The glosses themselves work well, don't have a funny taste or smell, and are flattering.This would be a great gift for anyone who isn't 'designer brand inclined' but open to good makeup in inexpensive compacts that arrive well sealed and work genuinely well. quality and presentation is very good, a bit mature for younger crowd
This is an impressive set for the price, with a good variety of products and quality that feels better than I expected for a budget makeup kit. The blush palette and highlighters are especially pretty with a nice shimmer, although two of the highlighter shades feel somewhat repetitive. There is also a good assortment of lip products, and the glosses in particular are super cute.Everything arrived sealed, which I appreciated. The presentation itself is fairly budget-looking, but still fun and exciting to open. Each box has a little pink shredded paper filler inside that gives it more of a gift effect.The contour shades look quite dark, so they may not work for every skin tone. That is probably the biggest issue with the set overall: not every piece is going to suit every person in terms of age, coloring, or personal style. Some products feel fairly juvenile while others are surprisingly mature.I had a hard time figuring out exactly who the target market is. It could be a great introduction for someone who wants to build a beginners makeup collection without spending much. For teenagers who are already very interested in makeup, though, they may prefer a smaller assortment from a popular prestige brand instead.I think this makes the most sense for a preteen who is right on the cusp of getting seriously interested in makeup, with the understanding that a few of the products are more grown-up. A fun countdown to Christmas - by the end you get a full face of makeup and then some!
Considering this is a Makeup Advent Calendar for Christmas 2026, I have not actually opened each product yet. That said, I cannot say exactly how each of the items work or their quality, but I can say that overall I really like this calendar. Along with this, I have purchased one of these advent calendars in the past and have been happy with it. What I learned was that the make-up that comes within the calendar isn't super highend, but it's more the novilty of opening up a new make-up product 24 days in a row. By the time the 24 days is up, you have everything you need for a full face of make-up and then some (from lipstick, mascara, blush and everything in between).The quality of the make-up isn't terrible, but, in my opinion, would be perfect for a teenage girl just starting out that hasn't quite picked out all of their favorite products yet. It's a great way to experiement with different types of make-up, while not completely breaking the bank considering this entire set is around $30 (which is just a bit more than a dollar a day!). I am personally going to give it to my daughter to start opening on December 1st. She has already seen the box and is very excited! The box itself is pretty and a great size, so it is very appealing to the person receiving it, as my daughter has displayed. I'm excited to see her open the boxes each morning!Ver másVer menos

I actually ordered this for myself. I was very impressed with the set for the price. There's a nice variety of products. Some of the shades of the Contours they look a little dark but with it still being summer and me having a tan I was able to work with them. I like the fact that this has a little bit of something for everything on your face. I was a little skeptical at first thinking for the price point and really not recognizing the name of the makeup products, they work perfect for my needs. I've had no issues with any kind of breakouts or anything like that and the makeup comes off with a makeup wipe. And then I wash my face afterwards. I usually have to be careful with some makeups whether than being higher-end or a no name brand, because they will make my face break out. But so far with this I've had no issues. I will say though, some of the products do have an odd smell to them. So I just avoided using those but basically the rest of them were fine. It's a really fun set. Soooo cute, definitely purchasing another one of these!!
I would give this more than 5 stars if I could! I originally bought this advent calendar for my teenage daughter, but after seeing everything that comes inside, I’m buying a second one to keep for myself. There is SO much makeup included, and it feels like you are actually getting a fun beauty haul instead of a calendar filled with tiny throwaway items.I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the makeup too. For the price, I honestly expected the products to feel a little cheaper, but they are actually really nice. You get such a good variety with eyeshadow, lip products, blush, contour, highlighter, brushes, and other beauty items. I love that it is not just 24 versions of basically the same thing.The packaging is also adorable and makes the whole thing feel much more special. Each product has its own numbered box, so there is still that excitement of opening something different every day. I know my daughter is going to have so much fun with it, although now I’m slightly jealous that I bought hers first!For around $30, I think the amount of makeup you receive is fantastic.
