Straightforward Inositol Formula With Good Manufacturing Details
This B Life inositol supplement contains both myo-inositol and D-chiro-inositol in a 40:1 ratio, which the description states that the ratio used is based on research. Inositol is a naturally occurring, vitamin-like carbohydrate compound that the body also makes on its own. It is commonly included in women’s supplements for hormone and metabolic support. The bottle contains 240 capsules, and the recommended dose is four capsules daily, so it is a 60-day supply. It is vegan, non-GMO, and made without dairy, soy, gluten, yeast, or preservatives. The capsules are easy to swallow, too.I like that it is made in the USA in a GMP-compliant facility and is third-party tested. The company also states that the facility is FDA registered. FDA registration does not mean the supplement itself is FDA approved, but I appreciate seeing more manufacturing information than many supplements provide. The ingredient list is fairly simple. Besides the two forms of inositol, it contains a vegetable capsule, cellulose, vegetable magnesium stearate, and silicon dioxide. These are common inactive manufacturing ingredients, and some people would consider cellulose and similar ingredients fillers or processing aids.Overall, this seems like a straightforward inositol formula with the commonly used 40:1 ratio and a relatively simple ingredient list.Ver másVer menos

Easy to swallow capsules, simple ingredients
I like that the 40:1 ratio of Myo-Inositol and D-Chiro Inositol is clearly stated - no guesswork. I also like that there is a very short list of simple ingredients with no fillers. The capsules are standard size, similar to most of the supplements in my regimen. They're easy to swallow. There's almost no odor in the bottle, and what very slight scent there is is faintly fruity. Must easier to tolerate than some of the funky-smelling supplements I have to choke down. You have to take four capsules to get the 2000mg dosage, but that also gives you an easy way to take a lower dose if desired, with easy math in 500mg increments per capsule.I usually take Myo-Inositol at bedtime as part of a sleep regulation approach, so I haven't noticed any energy-boosting effects. I also haven't noticed any side-effects, which is great. Overall, I'm happy with this supplement and would order it again.Ver másVer menos

Good without side effect
I spent probably too much time reading about inositol ratios before I ordered this. A lot of brands don't specify the ratio at all, or they bury it in fine print, or they use some proprietary blend nonsense. This one clearly states 40:1 myo to d-chiro right on the label, which is what most of the research points to. That transparency mattered to me because I wasn't interested in guessing what I was actually taking. The capsules are bigger than I expected—not huge, but definitely not small. I take them with breakfast and haven't had any issues swallowing them or any weird aftertaste lingering after. The bottle has 240 capsules, so depending on your dosage it lasts a while. I'm doing four capsules a day, so it's a two-month supply for me. The expiration date on mine was about 20 months out, which gave me plenty of runway. One thing I wish they included is third-party testing documentation. They mention GMP certification and FDA registration, which is good, but I like seeing an actual COA or lab results posted somewhere. Maybe that's asking too much for this price point, but it would've sealed the deal for me completely. Still, the ingredient list is clean—no fillers I had to look up or question marks. For what it is, it checks the boxes I needed it to check.Ver másVer menos

Simple formula with a generous capsule count
The main appeal for me is the straightforward combination of myo-inositol and D-chiro inositol in a 40:1 ratio. I like having both ingredients in one supplement, and capsules are a convenient option if you would rather skip measuring and mixing a powder. The bottle contains 240 capsules, which is a generous quantity for around $32. Just pay attention to the serving size when comparing options. Capsule count alone doesn't tell you how many days a bottle will last or how much of each ingredient you're getting per serving. My positive impression is based on the formula, format, and quantity. I wouldn't make claims about hormone balance or other results from those details alone, but the product is appealing as a simple capsule option without a long list of added active ingredients.Ver másVer menos
