Cute House! Easy to Build, Fun to Play. Good Instructions. Includes Characters & Dog
This is a cute, feminine little house with fun themed rooms (living room, bedroom, kitchen, art room) that most girls would enjoy. Plus, you get a pool, a sliding board, and a front porch swing. While the brick plastic is a little stiffer and harder to snap together than the name-brand, it is certainly manageable and comes at a great price.* The house can be arranged a couple of ways, but overall, the assembled size is roughly 7” tall x 12.5” wide x 9.5” deep.* The 47-page booklet has visual instructions, broken up into 230 steps, that are very easy for an experienced builder to understand. The pieces you need for each step are clearly called out in a blue box above the assembly image, so before you start each step, you can pull out what you need. Assembly of layered pieces is shown in a yellow box beside where you place them into the overall model.* The pieces are separated into bags labeled by 1’s, 2’s, 3’s, and 4’s, so you only need to open one section at a time rather than sorting through all the pieces at once. If you stick to this, you enjoy more time building and less time sorting pieces. Plus, you are less likely to lose pieces if you don’t open all the bags at once.* There are two twist-on/off round light bricks on the top floor of the house to illuminate the rooms. These are tight, so my daughter needed help turning them on. The bottom of the brick will pop off if you need to replace the batteries. It looks like they each take two AG3 batteries.* The girl characters are cute with trendy clothes and hairstyles.* The back and sides of the house are very plain.* The bricks are compatible with the name-brand product and other standard-size bricks.* There were no missing pieces and a couple of spares of the small pieces.* The material is a little stiff, so pushing the bricks together is tougher than the name-brand product. It’s more noticeable on the bigger pieces. However, once they are snapped, the final house is sturdy.* The recommended age of 6+ is probably overly optimistic unless the child is an experienced builder or has natural mechanical aptitude. Younger people will need help and supervision. In my opinion, a project with this many pieces is better suited to ages 9+.* While this isn’t perfect, I think it is an excellent value considering the quality and price compared to the name-brand.Ver másVer menos

Really nice quality build! Fun little details like a fish tank
I’m extremely happy with this girls summer house. It comes nicely packed in numbered bags. The instructions are a bit confusing as they will say to use bag 1 but there are 3 bag 1s so I just opened all of them. I started building this with my 4.5 year old daughter and we are having a great time. She can follow the directions (with lots of assistance/reminders). I love the little details like the fish tank! I’m quite impressed with the quality of this build. Yes it isn’t brand name but it’s still really nice and I think a pretty good value.Ver másVer menos

More Than a Building Set...It Became a Father Daughter Project
One of the unexpected highlights of this building set wasn't just the finished beach house, it was watching my son and his little daughter build it together.With 961 pieces, this isn't a quick afternoon project, especially for younger builders. Instead of trying to have her follow the entire instruction book, my son built the more complicated sections while handing her smaller groups of pieces and simple components to assemble. She felt like she was building right alongside him, and it turned into wonderful one on one time that held both of their attention far longer than I expected.I was amazed at how focused she became. Instead of bouncing from toy to toy, she carefully searched for pieces, helped assemble sections, and proudly handed completed parts back to her dad to add to the house. It was a great reminder that building sets can be about much more than the finished model.The completed seaside villa is adorable. The pink color palette, beach details, and LED lighting make it feel extra special once it's finished. The lights add a warm glow that makes it fun to display.The pieces fit together well, and the instructions were organized enough that my son had no trouble working through the build. But it did take time! The fact that it can also be rebuilt into different models adds even more value once the first build is complete.I would say this set is best suited for children who enjoy building with an adult or for older kids who already have experience with more advanced building sets. Younger children can absolutely participate, but they'll likely enjoy it most with a parent or grandparent helping guide the project.As a grandma, my favorite part wasn't the finished beach house. It was watching a dad and his daughter chat over all the crazy things kids come up with and a few make believe stories came out as well. Excellent Off-Brand Building Set!
This was a fantastic off-brand building set! All pieces were accounted for, fit together really well and are also fully compatible with our LEGO bricks, which was a huge plus. We didn't have any issues with loose or overly tight pieces, and everything stayed together nicely once it was built.The instructions were easy to follow, and each step was clearly laid out, making the build enjoyable from start to finish. The finished beach house is absolutely adorable with so many fun little details. The colors are bright and cheerful, and the LED light is a fun bonus that makes it look even better on display.I would say this is a little more advanced than the recommended age if your child is building independently. An average 6 year old would probably need some help from an adult, but older kids or experienced builders should have no problem putting it together.Overall, it makes a wonderful gift and offers a lot of value for the price. Doesn’t connect well, keeps breaking
I read the reviews and they all seemed positive. Maybe we got a bad set? This is the third time we have tried to put it together. The pieces don’t connect well and it ends up falling apart…over and over again. Looks cool! Bad design.
