Works well but is bulky

I've been using this ring for about a little over a week now. The app is easy to connect and set up. It took me a couple minutes to find where I could connect it to Apple Health, but that is feeding through now.The app synchs in just a few seconds when I open it to look at my latest results. These are in line with the results I get with my Oura ring, but without a subscription (which I don't happen to use or have because I got one of the 1st gen rings).I have not yet scoped out the AI Coach. There are goals for getting health points that you can then use in the Cudis store for discounts. With only a couple weeks in, I don't yet have enough points to; however, the tutorial mentions you can get health and wellness products, pilates classes, training sessions and the like. BUUUUT, the end of the tutorial says the store is not available yet in my country (US) and they are expanding globally.Now to the ring itself. There is both good and bad in my opinion. I like that there are the interchangeable silicone bands available to fit your mood. Right now, I'm just sticking with the black band this comes with. I do not have like how bulky the ring is. I'm wearing it in my index finger and it gets irritating when I hold my fingers closer to one another. Like the Oura, I see Cudis offers a ring sizing kit, which I highly recommend if you have not had a monitor ring before. There is a good chance you will find you need as much as a full ring size larger than you would normally wear (this is true of the Oura as well). I ordered the same size as my Oura and it is the right fit for me. I took the band off for the second photo just to see how easy it would be to change that it out. That is super simple to take off and out on, but I noticed pressing my fingers together didn't hurt so much, so some of the bulk is coming from the silicone band itself. I get that the band may be that thick just so you can easily work with it. It would be nice if they could make the ring thinner. I know Oura did with more recent generations, so it is a good goal for Cudis to work on.I do like the charging case. It has a lid that snaps shut, so if it happens to fall off the shelf my ring won't go skittering across the floor. This is an improvement over the charging stand that came with my Oura, where I have had my ring fly across the room because I had a tangle of cables I was trying to fix. The case is also compact, being a little over 1" square.The one truly amazing thing about this ring is it's power consumption. I fully charged the ring and put it back on 3 days ago and it is down to 79%. If I did my math right, that would mean about 14 days between charges. That's way better than any other wearable I've used. Even if it only lasts for a week on a full charge, I'd be happy.Ver más
