Useful AI features in a comfortable wearable device
I was curious to see how these AI smart glasses would fit into my daily routine, and they turned out to be much more practical than I expected. They were comfortable to wear for extended periods, so I never felt like I needed to take them off after a short time. Using the built in camera made it easy to capture quick moments without reaching for my phone. I found myself recording short clips during walks and while working on projects, and everything felt much more natural from my point of view. The voice assistant responded well to simple questions, which made it convenient when my hands were busy. I also tried the translation feature during conversations, and it helped make communication feel smoother. The open ear audio let me listen to music and hear what was happening around me at the same time, which I appreciated outdoors. Calls were clear enough for everyday use, and I did not have to constantly adjust the glasses while talking. Fun technology, but there’s no disguising that these are smart glasses
There is absolutely no hiding the fact that you are wearing AI smart glasses. The arms are thick, the rims are thick, and the cameras on the front are quite noticeable. Think: Buddy Holly, but with cameras. The bridge of the nose also isn’t especially comfortable, so these aren’t glasses I would want to wear for long periods. The music function works, but the open-ear audio is loud enough that the people around you can hear what you’re listening to, which feels a little awkward.The photo and video quality, however, are both surprisingly good. Naturally, one of the first things I did was put them on and record my cat playing. The glasses captured clear photos and video without requiring me to hold a phone, and that is easily their most enjoyable and successful feature.Two additional sets of lenses are included, including darker lenses that could make the glasses look more like sunglasses. Unfortunately, the instructions don’t explain how to replace them. I wanted to try the darker lenses but didn’t want to risk breaking either the lenses or the frames by forcing them out.Given the technology already available today, none of the features produced a major “shock and awe” moment for me, but the glasses are still fun to experiment with. They might make an entertaining non-name-brand tech gift, particularly for an older kid or teenager.Value for money: At the current price of $159.99, I would personally rather spend more on a polished, refined product than pay this much for something that performs the basic functions but still feels somewhat like a novelty.Ver másVer menos

Overall surprised by the quality, just know it's a budget option!
I’ve been wearing these nearly daily at work for a few weeks now and they're quite nice for the price point. The 13MP camera with stabilized POV recording is a standout. Video comes out clear and steady even when I’m moving around. Pictures are quite good as well. Transferring files to your phone is quick and painless through the app.Battery life seems pretty legit. The claimed 20 hours holds up for mixed use (occasional recording + Bluetooth audio for phone calls + the AI features) at least during the work day. The weight is slightly noticeable but the glasses sit across the bridge of the nose/over the ears comfortably enough. The frames feel solid but certainly bulky, and the included lens options (clear, light tint, darker shades) make them usable from morning to evening.Bluetooth audio with the ENC noise cancelling works better than expected for calls and podcasts. Quality is quite clear with no mic delay! The live ChatGPT translation feature is good enough at the price level, but it will occasionally mishear a word I say in English, assume I'm speaking a different language, then switch it's responded to that language, which I find mildly amusing. I mostly use it to add invoices and check my work throughout the day though.If you’re looking to find an entry point offering to try the tech, I would give these a shot. Basic Smart Glasses But Quality Needs Improvement
These glasses look pretty good from a distance and they’re actually lightweight and comfortable to wear. Connecting them to my phone was easy and the app is mostly straightforward. Basic features like answering calls and listening to music work well, so they do fine as Bluetooth glasses.The build quality is where I have issues. Mine has one arm that is much looser at the hinge than the other, which makes the glasses sit awkwardly on my head. One arm stays almost straight while the other tilts out noticeably. The camera is also disappointing. Both videos and pictures lack clarity, and changing the lenses is difficult enough that I sometimes feel like I’m going to break them. Voice recognition works but can be slow to respond, especially when trying to wake the glasses by voice. A Clever Way to Make These Work With Prescription Lenses
I wear prescription glasses, so the lenses that came with these were not really usable for me as-is. Instead of giving up on them, I popped the original lenses out and used an old pair of my prescription glasses. I carefully sanded those lenses down until they fit into these frames, and after doing that they have worked great for me.The glasses themselves are comfortable enough to wear and do not feel excessively heavy considering the camera, speakers, and electronics built into them. The camera is handy for quick point-of-view recordings, and I like being able to use the Bluetooth audio without having separate earbuds in. The controls take a little getting used to, but once everything is paired and set up they are fairly straightforward to use.Obviously, modifying prescription lenses like I did is not going to be practical for everyone, but I was pleasantly surprised that I was able to make it work. Now I can actually wear these and still see clearly, which makes all of the smart features much more useful to me. Overall, I have been happy with them after making that modification, and they have turned into a much more functional pair of smart glasses than I initially expected.Ver másVer menos

Smart Glasses with Camera – 3/5 ⭐⭐⭐These smart glasses are honestly one of the coolest gadgets I've tried in a while. They have a sleek, shiny design that looks very similar to a pair of classic Ray-Ban sunglasses, so they don't scream "tech gadget" when you're wearing them. If you didn't know better, you'd probably just assume they were a stylish pair of everyday glasses. They even have a built-in camera, which made me feel like I was living out some kind of spy movie. The idea of being able to discreetly listen to audiobooks, music, or take photos hands-free is incredibly appealing.I haven't completely finished setting everything up yet, but I was especially excited about the audio feature because I thought I could listen to my books without anyone around me noticing. Unfortunately, that hasn't been my experience. The speakers leak enough sound that people nearby can hear what I'm listening to, which kind of defeats the purpose for me. The technology is definitely interesting, and I love the concept, but it still falls short in execution.
