Aura Digital HD Picture Frame, Best Frame for Gifting, (12" - Aspen Black Mat) | Envi

Omg! This an amazing photo frame! It is so easy to set up and start looking at photos. They are large enough to be seen across the room. Some of my older photos are not sharp so the project a little fuzzy. Newer photos are very sharp and beautiful. It loads the photos fast and you can control the speed of the slideshow. If you want to make someone real happy this would be a phenomenal gift. It you buy it for yourself you will be even happier!Ver másVer menos

Well-made and well-designed, bought 1 as a gift and was impressed enough to buy one for myself too
The Aura feels like it's intended to be given as a gift, and it has some nice features to make that easier. I was able to set one up quickly for my 88-year-old aunt, including setting it up for her wifi (since I knew the SSID and pass). Adding pictures from your phone is easy too, and the process to invite others to add photos is mostly painless.I was impressed enough by all that to order one for myself, which also was pretty easy - I will say though that in my case, trying to add photos from old backups (that weren't in Google Photos on my phone, that is) proved to be a little more awkward. In principle you can email photos to a unique address associated with your phone. That's fine for one or two, but I had hundreds, and gmail wouldn't send more that 3-4 as attachments on a single message. Texting them was actually easier (I had the files on small usb-c drive I could just plug into the phone). I won't need to do that often, but it would be nice if there was a simple web UI you could drag and drop files onto.I decided not to hang mine on the wall (mainly due to the power cord) and go with the stand, which is a solid hunk of cast aluminum (or maybe zinc) painted to match, a little tricky to slot in but very stable feeling.Ver másVer menos

Great shareable photo frame!
Got two of these for new great-grandparents who live in other states. Easy to use, looks great, and everyone enjoys being able to upload and see new photo’s. We didn’t want to be posting pictures of the grandkids on social media and this is a much more engaging way to share pics than just texting them.Ver másVer menos

Frame is excellent quality, app and web uploader could use some work
Picture quality of the frame is excellent. The pairing of portrait photos is a great feature.I have found the web uploader and the app to be a little buggy. Don't try and upload more than a few dozen photos at a time. And the crop / reframe function in the app is spotty, sometimes you hit save but it doesn't update the photos.Ver másVer menos
