Not expensive and not so bad
For around $14 (give or take), I went in with realistic expectations. I wasn’t looking for luxury — I just needed something easy to pop off so I could still use the Meta official charging dock without turning charging into a wrestling match.Turns out, I kind of got the best of both worlds.These grips are super easy to remove and put back on, which was my main concern. No tools, no drama, no muttering under my breath. The knuckle straps work great — nice secure fit without feeling like I’m strapping into a roller coaster. The thumbstick covers are an added bonus and they stay put and actually do their job instead of sliding around like cheap socks.Now, the material is on the thinner side. I’m not expecting them to survive the apocalypse, but at this price? If I have to replace them every six months, I’m still ahead. They feel good in hand, and honestly, that’s what matters most when you’re swinging, shooting, bowling, or flailing around in VR.Bottom line: They’re comfortable, easy on and off (so charging is still simple), and very budget-friendly.
