A clever solution for mobile photography
I enjoy taking photos with my phone, so I was excited to try this. One of the things I like most is how much thought went into the mounting system. Instead of using a bulky clip that gets in the way, this attaches directly to the camera module and feels surprisingly secure once it's in place.The CPL filter itself is easy to rotate, making it simple to dial in the amount of polarization you want. I noticed it did a great job reducing glare on reflective surfaces like windows and water while making colors appear a little richer and the sky a bit more vibrant.I also appreciate how lightweight the whole setup is. It doesn't make my phone feel top-heavy, and it's compact enough that it isn't a hassle to carry around. Installation was quick, and once attached, it stayed firmly in place during use.The build quality is impressive as well. Solid fit, with useful glare control
I bought this filter set because I wanted cleaner shots from my iPhone during outdoor work and when shooting through glass. The fit on the camera module feels tight, and the snap-on base sits securely without gaps. The magnetic filter also makes setup quick, which helps when you move fast and do not want to waste time.In use, the filter does a good job cutting glare and reflections. Colors look richer, skies look better, and window shots come out clearer than without the filter. I noticed a big improvement on scenes with water, glass, and bright light sources.The biggest strength is the fit and the convenience. The base locks on well, and the filter stays in place during normal use. The storage case is a nice touch too.I did notice one weak point. The magnetic filter feels easy to bump while handling the phone, and the polarization effect did not look strong in every situation. If you hold the phone a lot while shooting, you need to be careful.For me, this worked best as a practical add-on for travel, outdoor shots, and quick content capture. Nice try, but falls short
Not worth it for a couple of reasons. First, the mounting bracket snaps in tightly around the camera lenses, so you won’t be taking it on and off. The lens itself is lightly magnetized so that you can rotate it, which also makes it easy to knock off accidentally- and since it’s in the way when trying to hold your phone, that’s pretty easy to do. Covers all three lenses at once, and it’s built solidly
I got it and I’m very happy. It’s metal and feels very secure. The base attaches over the three cameras and holds tight, and the filter itself locks onto the base magnetically with a solid connection. My iPhone is essentially my camera, and I shoot a lot of water, so a circular polarizer is exactly the filter I’d want.
