Creative Screen Free Fun
This blanket is so adorable. Exactly as shown. It comes with fabric markers to create your own styling. I got this for my 6 year old grand and it was perfect for her. She loved the cute dinosaurs. The blanket is perfect for a child. It is also a great throw blanket to cuddle up with. This is sized as a small throw blanket or a lap blanket. The blanket itself is soft. the pattern is on one side. The back side is a solid fleece material. Fabric markers can be a tad difficult to color with due to the fleece material. Best practice is to wash, dry and iron the blanket before starting. With a little care the creation comes out perfectly. The markers come with the blanket so you don't have to worry about getting the right ones. The blanket itself is large enough that we were able to work on it together. She of course was the lead artist. It did take a little while for us to complete this due to allowing the colors to dry. Touching up some to perfection and so on. The hardest part I think was setting it so we could use it. Once set however the colors didn't bleed out. Machine washable on delicate. This is a great way to have the kids enjoy screen free time, alone, with family or with friends. Its fun seeing the blanket come to life. When you are done creating, its usable. What could be better. Nice family coloring project that creates a fun blanket. Images were defective.
I ordered this GANKTOWCOY DIY Coloring Blanket for Adults with 12 Fabric Markers for my 9yo and 6yo grandkids, who we watch on Mondays and Fridays.The outer surface of the blanket that you color is a canvas-like fabric, while the back is a soft plush pile. The provided set of fabric markers is full of bright and colorful makers that are easy to use. Even our 6yo grandson was able to stay in the lines!They were both really excited to draw on it, and were thrilled with all the dinosaur images. And, of course, there was some serious discussion about who was going to claim it for their own once it is completed!My only negative (- 1 star) is that the image outlines faintly transferred to adjoining surfaces as the blanket was vacuum packed and shipped. If you look closely at my very first photo you can see there are faint, brownish outlines next to the black outlines.This is a nice item for almost $30, but I would be embarrassed if I had given it as a gift.Ver másVer menos

Cute Idea but Needs Improvement
I’m not really sure what I was expecting when I ordered this. I guess I didn’t fully think about what a coloring blanket would actually be like, because I was imagining a regular blanket that you could color, same feel, same softness, just with designs on it. This isn’t that.While the design is cute and my nephew will definitely have fun coloring it, the blanket itself doesn’t feel comfortable enough to actually use. The coloring side has a weird plasticky material, almost like a thin tarp or coated fabric. The other side, which is supposed to be the soft part, really isn’t. It feels like some batting was thrown on as an afterthought. It's not like any blanket material I’ve ever felt. It’s not cozy, and honestly, it’s even a little itchy.As a coloring activity, it’s fun and creative. But as a blanket, you’d actually want to curl up with? Not so much. I’m pretty sure it’ll only be used for the coloring part and not for comfort.Ver másVer menos
