Handy kit for more than just a PlayStation console and controllers
This review is for NEWFIX Repair Tool Kit for PS4 PS5 Console & Controller TR9 Security Torx Driver with PH00 PH0 PH1 Phillips Screwdriver SetThis kit can get you inside a PlayStation gaming console or controller and many other electronic devices. The kit includes 4 precision screwdrivers, including a T9 security Torx screwdriver, along with 3 Phillips screwdrivers: PH00 2.0mm, PH0 3.0mm, and PH1 4.0mm. The handles of these tools all feel very good in my hand in that they had a soft silicon type sheath with textured surface that provides a good grip and facilitates being able to give the screw a solid twist to get it freed from the console or controller. I also appreciate that the screwdriver heads are magnetic so the tip stays in the head of the screw and can help retrieve screws that fall down in those awkward openings.The kit also includes a pry bar tool, a pair of tweezers, a brush, 2 seam tools, and a triangular opener. These tools help complete the work. The seam and opener tools helped me to pop open the controller. I put the brush to use cleaning the fan and motherboard. I didn't have much need for tweezers or pry bar yet, but I am still happy to have them in my arsenal of tools for future projects.Overall, this is a great set of specialty tools for those who like to tinker with electronics or just curious to find out what is on the inside or how does this thing work. The only thing that would have made this better would be if the kit came in a self contained storage case. Nevertheless, this set is an absolute great value for the money for less than $10. Not for the listed purpose, but perfect for sewing machine repair and maintenance
I know this is listed as a cleaning and repair kit for a PS4, but I actually bought it for cleaning and repairing my sewing machines and serger! When I saw the tiny tweezers, screwdrivers, tiny picks, and brush I knew this would be perfect for my needs.It might be weird to buy this for a sewing machine or serger, but especially with a serger there are tons of tiny pieces and small areas that fuzz and fluff can get stuck and clog up the machine. The loopers and many other pieces need small screwdrivers to adjust and repair. It's also very fiddly and difficult to thread the lower and upper loopers, so the tweezers are PERFECT to help with thisI have a lot of cleaning and maintenance I need to do on my serger and vintage sewing machine, so I'm very happy to have this on hand. This is a much better bargain than buying a set that is specifically for sewing machines, so it's really a great deal!Ver másVer menos

A Handy Kit for His PlayStation
I got this for my husband to use on his game system, and he was very happy to add it to his supplies. He loves having kits like this ready whenever something needs cleaning or a little maintenance. Definitely needed this
I've needed one of these cleaning sets since forever and I'm so happy that I got this one. It has everything that I need to properly clean my PS4 and soon to get PS5. The tools are sturdy and durable. I don't see them being damaged or broken easily even with consistent use. I like how each tool was carved and made with such precision to ensure that the more difficult areas to access on my PS4 are reachable. Also, these tools are flimsy or bulky. They are easy to hold without them feeling awkward in my hands. And the tools were designed in a way to make sure that your game system doesn't get scratched during the opening or cleaning process. Good little kit!
This kit provides you everything you need to get started working on consoles laptops, or other small electronics. I appreciate the variety of screwdrivers, as well as the prying and opening tools that can be used to access difficult areas, remove plastic trim, or gently remove glued in components. The manufacturing qualities is high, with a good grip surface on the screwdrivers, and the prybar is able to exert a pretty significant amount of force without bending or breaking.
