Just my opinion

Great quality video.
Great video quality. I mount to my road bike and the color and resolution in fantastic. Image stabilization does work. I just wish I could attach a blutooth mic to it. And battery last only about an hour.

Stick to video with this thing
The photos this camera produces are terrible. The cheapest smartphone on the market will take better pictures. However, the 4K video this camera can produce in decent outdoor lighting is much better than I expected and audio is decent as well, even if you are doing a walk and talk with your face behind the camera instead of in front of it. There is some noticeable jelly roll or weird jitter on the edges, especially at the left side with my camera, but I'll accept this because the camera is so inexpensive and otherwise does fairly well keeping the image steady even if you're walking normally and not trying to be extra steady. This is a camera I could happily use for real action footage and not feel bad about potentially breaking it because it isn't a $300 or $400+ action camera. I'd attach this to a bike, or my car, or any manner of other transport where I'd not at all want to mount my precious Insta360 Ace Pro 2 or even my aged GoPro Hero 10 Black. The colors aren't perfect, but they're much truer to life than my Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra and this thing lived in the bottom of my backpack purse for more than two weeks and still showed full battery when I turned it on. Meanwhile, my Ace Pro2 that I used regularly in the pro grip with the extra battery died on me in less than a minute. So it seems to hang on to its battery capacity fairly well, tool.To me, that makes up for the just terrible photos. You'd be better off capturing stills from video than using photo mode as far as I can tell.Ver másVer menos

Best for money and is honestly what it’s advertised as
The money for this camera was absolutely worth it I got it because my old one was only good for emergencies and I couldn’t save the video or pics from that a jadfezy but what do you expect for $20 this was not only a bit more than that but actually looks like 4k to me the video angle is pretty wide I don’t think it’s actually what’s advertised at 170° but it’s damn near close or I have the wrong settings on it but it looks good for the price I’d absolutely recommend and buy it again and it came with a charging dock and 2 batteries and it was charged when it was deliveredVer másVer menos

A Capable Action Cam
This SJCAM SJ6 Ultra has been an absolutely amazing addition for my gear collection, especially since it brings so much versatile capturing power and incredibly solid build quality to my everyday adventures!Right off the bat, the dual-screen setup is fantastic, as the front-facing screen makes vlogging or framing myself up a total breeze, and the rear touchscreen is super snappy, which is a huge plus. It has been an excellent experience since I started using it normally, and it feels like a very solid, rugged piece of gear that has quickly become a go-to for my outdoor shots. My grandson was even eyeing it up to take on his next hike, which speaks to how appealing it is for all ages!A really nice touch is the 166-degree field of view, which is awesome for capturing wide, expansive landscapes without any of that weird, excessive distortion.Speaking of performance, the SteadyMotion 2.0 stabilization is absolutely amazing; it does a commendable job of smoothing out footage during my light hikes and handheld walking shots. The 4K resolution produces sharp, vibrant colors that look great for casual social media content, and the option to use a wireless microphone is a total game-changer for getting clear audio when it gets windy outside. My one little thing, however, is that the battery life does drain noticeably faster when shooting in 4K with Wi-Fi enabled, so carrying a spare battery is practically a necessity for long days out. Also, the voice control can be a little finicky if there is a lot of background noise, requiring a bit of a louder command, but it's not a deal-breaker at all.All in all, I am really happy with this action camera. It works perfectly, delivers fantastic functionality for a great price, and is a very appealing option for someone looking to document their travels or create dynamic vlogs without the high price tag of those other brands. I am super happy with its amazing performance and versatile set of tools, making it a solid choice for anyone looking to get started with some serious filming!Ver másVer menos

Very good budget camera
This camera is actually quite good. The picture quality is very good. It's at or near 4k. The video, which is what I primarily using this for, is smooth and fairly stable. I took this on a recent vacation and was able to get quite a bit of use, especially underwater. The build quality of the camera seems good and I like the touch screen. It makes navigating the menu easy. There are two screens, one in the front of you want to position the video to face you and the main back screen. Only the back screen is a touch screen. The color and resolution of the screen is great. The video quality underwater was excellent. It also picked up the sound very clearly. I used the included water proof case that it came with. This is also one of it's biggest faults. The waterproof case works great underwater, and there was zero water intrusion. However the only button I could use was for start stop button for the video. I couldn't use the buttons on the side to power up or down, nor the settings button. They do not go in far enough. In addition, the touch screen is unusable. In a couple of instances the mode changed from video to camera and I couldn't get it to switch back unless I took it out of the case. This doesn't work well when you're in the water. Second, because I can't power it on or off, I have to leave it on the whole time so I can start/stop the video as needed. This lead to quicker battery drain. The battery does last a decent amount of time (and they provide two which is great), but because I couldn't power down when in the case that drained it faster. That's brings me to my next point. They do include a dual battery charger. That's fantastic, so you don't have to do one at a time. However, the charger base uses a micro USB, and not the more common USB-c port. That's would be ok, but the don't include a micro USB cable with it. So that base is essentially useless unless you happen to have one of those cables. You can charge the battery via the camera, which does have USB-c. This makes no sense to me.It's also comes with all the necessary accessories you'll be to attach it to a mount or stick, etc.The video quality is great so if you can get past the other issues, this will work. This is not a good camera for night time videos, so note that if you plan on doing that often. One thing to make sure you do before you take videos, turn off the watermark logo in the settings. Otherwise all your videos will have the product logo in there. Overall this is a decent value for what you get. If they resolve a couple of the issues I mentioned then this would become a great deal
