Quiet, Creamy Typing and Excellent Multi-Device Connectivity
I received this YUNZII C98 Wireless Mechanical Keyboard to use in my home office setup. Juggling a new baby, a three-year-old, and a five-year-old means I frequently have to work during their nap times, so I specifically needed a keyboard that was not overly loud or clicky, but still provided a full 99-key layout with a dedicated number pad for my daily tasks. The gasket mount design and the pre-lubed linear switches deliver an incredibly smooth, "creamy" typing experience. The acoustic profile is muted and soft, which completely eliminates the sharp, rattling noises that used to wake the baby when I typed quickly. The thick PBT keycaps feature a rounded MOA profile that feels very comfortable under the fingers, and they are built with double-shot molding and dye-sublimation printing so the legends do not wear out or develop a greasy shine. I also appreciate the overall aesthetic; the cute cake-inspired design and the 360-degree RGB side lighting add a fun, personalized touch to my desk.In my experience, this keyboard works best for users who need to seamlessly multitask across different devices. The tri-mode connectivity is flawless. I use the 2.4GHz wireless dongle for my main work PC and the Bluetooth 5.0 connection to instantly toggle over to my tablet or smartphone when I need to quickly respond to messages while holding the baby. The massive 10,000mAh battery is another standout feature; I can use the keyboard for extended periods with the RGB lights running without having to constantly plug it in to charge.I am giving this keyboard a 5-star rating because the build quality and performance perfectly match its stylish design. The quiet, satisfying typing feel, the reliable multi-device switching, and the impressive battery life provide exceptional value and make my daily workflow much more efficient, fully justifying the top score.Ver másVer menos

excellent pre-build with a numpad
This is a very good quality keyboard and absolutely the most adorable design I have ever seen. The attention to detail makes it a real show stopper. I can't stop looking at how cutely built it is, especially the sides. It has a cloudy design making it look like a whipped creamy ice cream sandwich hah. For a pre-built it types very well without any need for additional mods. I love the form factor as it's perfect for gaming - nice and compact sized yet still retains the arrow buttons as well as some of the other short cuts while not taking up much space. The sound is somewhat poppy and the switches are very responsive, very "linear". Doesn't feel like it needs any re-lube either. The glow on the sides make it less blinding due to the cloudy design for diffusing. The keycaps are a new edition. It's kitty shaped with meow ears and that light up as a diffuser to the rgb. Light shines through so nicely especially if you click FN+Tab for automatic white lighting. The lighting is so soft and glows. It's thick, thocky and fun to type on overall!Other yunzii keebs use QMK software for customization but I'm not sure if this one has that feature as it didn't specify and I hadn't plugged it in yet. I have been using it wirelessly and found the 2.4 dongle at the bottom in the paw tilt. How cute is that! It's also a fish shaped - kitties love to grab fish after all. Very cute themed keyboard at such a low price point - I need to collect the other colors! Must have!!Ver másVer menos

It's So Pretty, I Now Have Two!
I have this same keyboard but in pink with stock keycaps and milk switches. As a keyboard enthusiast, if you care about the look and sound profile, these keycaps make a significant difference than the standard MOA keycaps it initially came out in. While my pink keyboard came with MOA keycaps that have been swapped out with MAO keycaps, this purple one already came equipped with MAO keycaps and this time, candy switches.MOA keycaps tend to make keyboards sound thockier, but these MAO keycaps definitely bring out the "clack" factor, which is what I prefer. While milk switches are more creamy/clacky, the candy switches are thockier. Hopefully these comparisons help you make the right selection based on your preference! In essence, this model has become a huge favorite and icon in my collection. The typing feel and sound is nice, the keyboard has a nice weight to it, and I love how it looks on my desk. I use it for both work and gaming. The wireless connection is stable and consistent, and the dongle is safely stored underneath one of the paws on the back of the keyboard. The best part about this model, is all of the accessories it comes with: an extra mousepad, switches, keycap puller, cable, and a little gift card and envelope if you want to gift this to someone. This keyboard comes with everything you need to make it feel truly yours and if you're in the gifting mood, maybe to someone else as well.Ver másVer menos
