Top 10 Spielberg Film! A love letter to believers!

I saw this movie in theaters and it met, exceeded my expectations! This a a love letter to those who believe we are not alone in the universe. The movie has stellar performances from Emily Blunt, Colman Domingo, Eve Hewson, Josh O’Connor and the great Colin Firth. A score by the great John Williams adds to the thrill and pacing showing the maestro hasn’t lost a step and is a treasure! Spielberg is unmatched in his aesthetic and this is a prime example of his work.The film itself is thrilling, emotional and may one day prove to be prophetic showing a collection of some actual historical evidence, some of which is creatively enhanced and what would be hypothetical examples of footage not yet released to the public. It is all woven together to bring truth to fiction and open one’s mind to the possibilities in our universe.As the name says it’s a day of disclosure and as would likely happen, the film follows stake holders that would be desperate to keep the details suppressed for their own benefit and those courageous enough to risk it all to release what is knowledge that belongs to us all. There are thrills, emotional moments especially the performance of Courtney Grace and some awe inspiring ideas of how emissaries would bridge the gap in communion with extra-terrestrial beings. There is much more to this film that involves spoilers but what can be said are the performances, the visuals, the feel of the film are all fantastic. We are all entitled to opinions but there are still many who wouldn’t trust some rando posting a TikTok video and take it as gospel, so in reality it would take legacy media exposure to reach the masses since everyone gets a push notification these days for global world news. I believe Spielberg is correct with how this disclosure would likely unfold and how information would be disseminated for a revelations of this magnitude that would forever change how we view our place in the universe. It boggles the mind how realism is defined as an influencer, with no journalistic experience or on the ground presence, would be the trusted source for anything other than a review on the latest Disneyland churro, but this is where we are in 2026.This film is how this disclosure would likely happen and the type of world event occurring simultaneously is also what one would expect to be the catalyst for the truth to come out, to wake us up to the reality that our world, our civilization is a small, nascent one among the likely millions of civilizations across the cosmos. Great film, great science fiction that may one day prove to be science fact and definitely worth a second, a third viewing so I very much look forward to owning this on physical media.Spielberg at his best, captivating, imaginative with a solid cast that I hope to see in more projects based on their work here!Ver más

Don't even bother

Please do not waste your money on this pile of crap! Absurdly disappointing! Especially after all the hype! Even though I hate AI I'm starting to believe that might be better than this!

This was great movie

Ppl who say it bad or terrible didn’t understand the film Independence Day or close encounters of third kind n the arrival n contact n x file movie all good ufo sci-fi movies . I heard negative n POSITIVE of film and ignored it went in to be entertained . It slow movie cause it a story driven film not action or thriller . This answer question of are we alone or not and it felt like x-files movie in a way and it had good story plots pay attention to film and get it Emily blunt was really good in film . The ending of movie was cliffhanger it was good I see why ppl would say bad n terrible leaves questions more unanswered . Steven Spielberg did a great film it was emotional thrill ride ,Ver más

CINEMA MAGIC .

DISCLOSURE DAY. We loved it. It makes a perfect trilogy with Close Encounters and ET. It kept us glued to our seats!!. It is worth going to the theater to see. This is not a documentary about religious beliefs. It is pure cinematic magic meant to entertain and not to challenge your beliefs. Definitely the Spielberg and John Williams golden touch was there!! Meh!

I saw it at the theater today. I was not impressed. It had a slow start. It's 2 1/2 hours long. The storyline was all over the place. Some things were never tied together or explained. The ending was disappointing. I love Emily Blunt and Colin Firth in everything they do, but this was meh. I was hoping for better from Steven Speilberg. All I could think during the movie was "I should be painting the greenhouse right now".Ver más
