Works well, charges more remotes for big family
I wish I would have had this when I first got my Nintendo switch. We’ve been using a charger than only held four joy cons, but we’re a family of six. We’ve had multiple nights when someone’s remote control didn’t work because it wasn’t charged and it turned into a “that’s not fair!” argument or someone being left out. This charged holds eight, which is more than we need but it’s perfect for when we have my friend and his wife over to play. We set up a couple of tvs for Nintendo, make snacks and play different games together. It’s a ton of fun, and this way when we eat dinner we can charge all of our remotes. The remotes easily connect to the charger. You can tell they’re charging when connected and the speed of the charge seems to match what we already were using. For me, it’s the ability to charge my entire family’s remotes. We don’t play all the time, so it really was a bummer when someone’s remote didn’t work for family switch time. We also have a couple of extra ones that we throw on it sometimes just in case one doesn’t work for some reason now. I like the design of the charger also because it doesn’t take up a ton of room on my end table despite charging more remotes. It’s easy to see the lights to tell whether or not a remote is done charging. I had not seen a charger that had the ability to charge eight remotes until I saw this, as my locals stores only had the option that did four remotes. Perfect for Households with Multiple Joy-Cons
I picked this up because Joy-Con controllers have a way of multiplying around the house, especially when you have family game nights or kids who always seem to grab a different controller. Being able to charge up to eight controllers in one place keeps everything organized and ready to go.The magnetic charging system is my favorite feature. Instead of carefully lining up charging ports every time, you simply drop the controllers into place and the magnets do the work. It's quick, easy, and makes charging feel effortless, especially when you're putting away multiple controllers after a gaming session.The charging dock itself feels well built. The weighted base and anti-slip pads keep it stable on the entertainment center, and it doesn't feel like it's going to tip over when fully loaded with controllers. It also helps reduce the clutter of having controllers scattered around the room.The LED indicators make it easy to see what's charging and what's ready to use. I don't have to guess whether a controller is fully charged before starting a game, and the charging speed has been more than adequate for our needs.I also appreciate the built-in charging protection. Since this often stays plugged in, it's nice knowing the dock automatically manages charging and isn't constantly overcharging the controllers. That's one less thing to worry about.For the price, I think it's a great value. It keeps the gaming area organized, charges a lot of controllers at once, and makes it much easier to keep everything ready for multiplayer games. Space saver for homes with switch 1&2, works slick!
Easy to set up, stays stable on a flat surface. Single power cable connects to the dock (or other USB-C power source).I love that it charges both Switch 1&2 controllers, as we have multiple and both kinds in our house. This is a space saver for sure.Controllers are easy to insert, and the status lights show you that it's connected and charging. I do wish the lights were red and maybe green instead of blue and white, but it's not a huge deal.I do wish it had a USB-C output as well to connect the Pro controller, that could be an improvement for the next version.Ver másVer menos
