LED lights are so much fun to have on hand for holiday lighting or for teen rooms
I have a large collection of led lights for all the holidays, on my porch, in my living room.. some are plug in and some are battery Operated. I prefer plug in bit battery Operated has its convinces.These LED strip lights are my 1st in strip form. I've yet to decide how or where I will display them. But I love that they have a remote with so many choices on colors and effects. this makes it great for holidays so you can change them to coordinate with holiday colors. This strip is only 6.6 ft which sounds like a lot but once you wrap it or put them up, its usually not as long as you think they will be.I may give this set to my 13yo son for his room to use as sort of a "night light" so he doesn't have to use the room lights, keeping his room cooler in the summer. these types of lights are actually perfect for teen rooms for them to decorate.I think you can even control these by app? which is a new feature for me.Ver másVer menos

Perfect for Adding a Little Fun
I bought these to add a little light to a shelf in my son's room without dealing with cords everywhere. He loves changing the colors, and it made his room feel a little more fun without taking much effort to set up. The remote was easy enough for him to figure out, and I like being able to adjust everything without moving the lights.The brightness is good for accent lighting, especially in the evening. We also tried a few of the color modes, and the kids thought they were really cool. Since they're battery powered, I wasn't limited by where an outlet was, which made placement a lot easier.The only thing to keep in mind is that battery-powered lights will eventually need fresh batteries if you use them often, so I wouldn't leave them on for hours every day.For the price, I think they're worth the value. They're an easy way to add colorful lighting to a small space, and the setup was simple enough that I had them running in just a few minutes.Ver másVer menos

I' m Afraid These Lights Are A Dud
I love the current trend of mood lighting and I like a particular bluish-purple light, so based on the pictures the manufacturer put in the Amazon listing, it looked like just what I was looking for. Everything worked as it was supposed to. There is an adhesive strip that attaches the lights to whatever indoor surface you want. I decided to attach the strip to the back of my desk in my craft studio. I thought it would be nifty to go in there to wind down and enjoy the perfect ambiance. Well, I'm disappointed. The lights are teeny tiny and they don't give off much light at all. They certainly don't light up the room like the manufacturers pictures represent. I used the remote to take the lights to the highest setting. I've attached a picture of my studio in the dark with just the light strip on and as you can see it doesn't even light up anything that's on my desk right next to it. As a matter of fact, the picture actually looks like it's giving off more light than in real life because the lights are blurry because I was taking the picture in a dark room without a flash. We've had light strips before that we put on the back of our TV and they were SO much brighter and lit up most of the wall the TV was on. I was going to give 3 stars but because the pictures by the seller are so misleading I took off an extra star.Ver másVer menos

Peel and stick lights perfect for bike tires!
These indoor/outdoor LED strip lights are powered by 3 AA batteries. They are vibrant and come with a ton of color and pattern options! Way more than I think is needed! They are also dimmable and can be set on a timer. They claim to be energy efficient and water resistant which is good because I will be putting this on my bike tires. It does say they can be controlled via app but I will just use the included remote. These can obviously be used for a variety of other things. My daughter wants it to decorate her room! I forgot to mention that it has a music sync mode setting that uses a built-in sensitive sound sensor to automatically change colors and brightness to the rhythm of your music, voice, or ambient sound! For this reason, I am most excited as these will go on my bike tires for Burningman! I love the tool‑free installation with peel and stick application. One strip fits my 29" tire so will need to get another one for the other tire.Ver másVer menos

Everything Works as it is Supposed to
This 6.6FT RGB LED Strip Lights Battery Power Color Changing Music Sync App Remote Control, Waterproof LED Light Strips Battery Operated USB Lights for TV Cabinet Closet Shelves DIY Lighting works just as it is supposed to. That is actually saying something, as I have tried other lights with wonky remotes or non working or extremely intrusive apps that want lots of extra permissions. This just works. The remote has more buttons and features than most. The app works just fine and only asks for needed permissions. The colors do tend to be toward the blue, so white is kind of a bluish white. That seems to be because the blue LEDs are so bright. The red and green are just fine on their own. There are several different play to ambient sound features on the remote. The app has more flashing choices but only one play to music choice from music that has to be played from your phone. You can also have it follow along with the phone mic or the built in mic. I do not know how long this will run on the three batteries, but it is plenty bright with three new ones. You could use Ni-cads if you want rechargeable.Ver másVer menos
