  Solid Flexible Power Pipelines

  Charging devices is just something I seem to have to do day in and day out in my line of work/hobby/necessity to keep batteries from trying to off themselves with phantom drain/etc.Now that USB-C is becoming the defacto standard almost across the board, I always seem to need more USB-C Charging cables, and better ones as time goes on as charging speeds increase from 20-30W, to 50-60W, and now 100W+.These cables help fit that 100W and below range perfectly.The packaging and individual wrap upon first opening these cables is quite nice. They feel well enough made and care was put into their presentation and packaging which is always appreciated and I try to maintain that with my wrapping and storing of cables when not in use to maximize their lifespan.The flexible ends feel and seem to work in all sorts of wonky angles and bends which is nice as you don't get quite as caught in a weird position and have to adjust as much as some other cables that have longer stiff initial ends that seems to add strain on whatever you are plugged into and though USB-C is far better than the old days, I still have plenty of flashbacks to broken Micro/Mini USB ports on phones and other devices in the past that would end up making charging impossible after some minor abuse. This type of flexible cable helps a little to hopefully avoid that in the long run.The 3FT length is exactly as you would expect since that is what you are getting. Its long enough to get from a charger to a device, but not quite long enough to want to say use with a phone while charging as the length is somewhat short for active handling unless the plug is on a desk/table or something right with you. Usually if you want to handle a device while charging you want at least a 6ft-10ft cable in this case.Charging speed hit the max of 89W which is the largest draw device I have currently but that runs in line with other 100W charging cables I have on hand so it seems to perform as expected in that case.Data transfer is USB 2.0 speeds so if you do want to use it for any Data transfer you are not getting any sort of high speed data cable. It's primarily a charging cable and that is to be expected unless it states otherwise.Overall these cables look and feel great, works as intended, and should last a good long while as long as you aren't too abusive to them even with the flexible ends, care should always be done when handling charging cables and now that we are moving into the 100W+ Range, a little more even just because of the increased load's involved.Ver másVer menos

  Charges fast and built to last

  Each cable works as expected, connecting snugly and charging fast when possible. They also seem well made.Due to the braided nylon sheath, I suspect these will last longer than than normal cables. Over the years, normal cables, which do not have a nylon sheath, can wear out faster, whether with the connector loosening over time or the wire fraying.This nylon is flexible, feeling almost like fabric--unlike my first nylon cable, which is super stiff and challenging to wind and unwind, but it still works without issue going on 15 years.Ver másVer menos

  Today's cables for yesterday, today, and tomorrow's devices and chargers

  Amazon invited me to review this. Warning: Once you've used a 100W charging cable, you'll probably prefer it for all your charging needs, even if you only need one of those cheap, basic cables. Yes, these work great. No, I don't have any computer or phone yet that will accept 100W, even though I have a couple chargers that put out that much. I got the 3 pack of black 3'/900mm cables.As the description states, these cables actually have chips in them that negotiate with the devices and chargers. The latest chips support all the earlier standards. They work for data transfers as well as charging. They fit tighter, have better housing, are more durable, and can be adapted to USBc-USBa by adding a simple adapter when that is needed.Of course I still have older cables around, but the simplest choice is to take these whenever I travel, by car, by plane, or public transport.
