A True Sleeper, This is a Premium Quality Watch for a Fraction of the Price!
Probably the nicest watch I’ve ever owned, the only exception being an Apple Watch Ultra 3 that I returned to replace with this. I hadn’t really considered Amazfit as a serious fitness brand before I saw the Cheetah 2 Ultra reviewed by someone else online and fell in love with the look. It’s a premium watch with a champagne titanium finish (Think Apple Watch “Natural Titanium” finish in terms of warmth with a satin finish). The entire case is made of it, too, and it holds up to my restaurant job easily, banging into metal counters and bars constantly. The sapphire glass lens makes me confident this thing is never going to get damaged, bar some unfortunate incident that any screen would be damaged (taking a tumble on asphalt, scraped hard against tough stone on a hike?). The UI is fluid, simple, and beautifully played out. GPS has been responsive and my runs I’ve done so far the data I’ve collected on my runs has felt accurate and trustworthy, with metrics and scores that I feel are right up there with the likes of Garmin and Bevel. Amazfit feels like the underdog in the fitness wearable industry, but I can attest that this one is sleeper and a solid performer. I’m so happy I took the chance to try it out. Already ordered several bands to go with it! The greenish nylon band it comes with is unfortunately unattractive IMO, but the black silicone band it is sold with is a keeper in my rotation for sure.
