  Not easy to latch it open

  Compact, lightweight, good sun protection, durable. But latching isn’t easy and needs notable force. Might be difficult for either child or elderly.

  Seems good-Nope!

  Update - I've used this umbrella maybe 5 times. Today I tried to close it and it stuck half way open. Now will neither open nor close. So not only is this windproof umbrella useless in the wind, it didn't even last 6 months. What a total waste of money. And it's gone up in price!!!!!Update-absolutely useless in wind. So much for windproof. It turned inside out at least 3 times waiting for my grandson today. Since it kept turning inside out, it was no good for the rain, either. And I watched several other people with obviously inexpensive, even kids-sized, obviously NOT windproof umbrellas where the wind had no effect at all. Had I know it would do this, I definitely would have returned it. I bought two other, smaller versions from this brand for my grandkids, too. Seriously upset!!I had to return 2 other similar umbrellas. This one seems like a keeper. It's large enough. One I had to return had a wiggly mechanism. This one does a bit, too, but not anywhere nearly as bad. Is that a thing with these vented, auto open/closers? My grandson's doesn't do that but it's not vented. Anyway, this one is much more sturdy. Got to test it out yesterday in a bit of wind and it held up pretty good. Stong enough to almost blow my grandson's umbrella out of his hands. For some reasone, I really like the look of the double vented ones and this one has added style in that there is a bit of color on the inside where the vent is. Attractive umbrella and it seems to work. Will have to see how it does in rain. If we could ever get any here in AZ.Ver másVer menos
