great for working in advance
this silicone mold is perfect for wax seals and being able to accomplish orders much quicker.with 2-3 wax stamps you can truly process the seals so much quicker, not to mention that they just look a lot cleaner because they're all the same size vs. when you're just free balling it and they come out all "organic" looking, which is not necessarily a bad thing, this just looks more professional.Ver másVer menos

Making wax seals that are perfectly round is a breeze with this mat.
I used this mat to help me make wax seals for my wedding and it was so helpful. I would not have been able to make perfectly round wax seals without it.

Silicone Wax Seal Mat Pad for Wax Seal Stamp
Fun to work with seal wax or just plain hot glue. Worked as expected just a little less mess.

Not as easy as it looks
I had high hopes for this wax seal mat, especially while making seals for my wedding. I have OCD, so I was really looking forward to having consistent, uniform seals, but unfortunately, this didn’t work out as expected.The circular guides required a lot of wax to fill properly. If I didn’t use enough, the seals lost their shape, but using more felt wasteful and still didn’t produce clean results. Surprisingly, I got better looking seals without using the mat at all.The included stickers were a nice bonus, though I didn’t get a chance to test their quality since I ended up returning the kit. uses a lot of wax
The silicone mat is very good quality but the holes use a lot of wax to make the round shape. The double sided discs are very sticky and stick well to the seal. Two issues with them:...a bit tricky to remove the backing from the seal as there are no tabs to grip, also, the backing is very slippery, I was going to attach my seals to card stock to sell in my shop but there is nothing that will stick to the disc so I can adhere it to card stock for shipping. I've tried glue, double sided tape etc...nothing sticks! But if you don't care to do this then the discs are great and stick well to both the seal and an envelope.Ver másVer menos
