  Great option

  Great configuration and really good performance. My suggestion is to choose the 32 GB RAM option because the GPU allocates 3 GB of memory by default, leaving the system with only 13 GB of available RAM. But again, it works really well. Thank you!

  Great price considering today is market.my only issue is is that it only came with a single memory stick making it single channel.had to buy another memory stick to make a dual chain and unlock the full performance of it.

  Good product and value but single channel ram

  Original review: I really like the build quality of this product. It was a great value with the coupon on the listing during prime day. However, I was disappointed to learn that it only has single channel ram. The listing, in multiple places, indicates that it has dual channel ram. I understand there are multiple ram slots (one filled and one empty), but that is misleading in my opinion to claim dual channel when it's not. There is a significant performance difference, and I am missing out having only one 16 GB stick instead of two 8 GB sticks. When I try to reach out to their support email now (support@getorli.com), I get a message "an error occurred. Your message was not sent" in my gmail. The problem is I have successfully emailed them before, so I don't know why it no longer works. If you go into this understanding there is single channel ram and are ok with that, this is a good option.Updated Review:Getorli support reached and very helpful in answering my questions and addressing my concerns. It was a 10/10 customer service experience. They let me know that their new support email is "support@getorlipc.com", so please note that if you need to reach out as the manual not be up to date for all units. I am grateful for their time and support. This is still a well built product, and I am really loving it. It's a good value for what you get as long as you understand it comes with 1 16 GB ram stick are OK with that. It can tackle any office style program, browsing, and even some gaming if you're comfortable with tinkering with settings and using upscaling.   Turn it upside down if you don’t want it to overheat and crash

  Editing my review. I got it stop crashing by turning it upside down because the air flow wasn’t good enough sitting right side up. It’s a better fix, but it’s not great. Maybe have bigger legs for it or something.?

  Decent for light LLM work

  Works pretty well with small-ish LLMs, for the price the 16GB of RAM is on the light side, though current memory prices are way overblown. The Ryzen 7 8745HS is a low powered beast of a processor, capping out at 54w though usually running closer to 35w, this has enough clocks to snap through most tasks. I even ran small PHI models in without issue. Getting to the RAM or M.2 slots for upgrading is a bit of a pain, you have to remove all of the internals which includes 8 screws and a plastic tab or 2. There are 2 DDR4 slots and 2 M.2 2280 slots available with one free of each. The system powers right up and easily handles Windows, Ubuntu, Fedora and Proxmox without any additional drivers or software.Ver másVer menos
