  Pricey, but Quality Construction

  Premium is the defining characteristic of this motherboard. Economy aside, it's presentation and performance is indeed high end. Out of the box with updated firmware, my system has run smooth as smooth can be. Installation was pretty simple enough, but it is a bit more technical will M.2 SSD installation. It's a slight learning curve, but it accommodates both single-sided M.2 SSDs and double-sided M.2 SSDs. Chipset memory functionality is less restricted compared to its X870E counterparts making it Gen 5 friendly all-around. Every game and program has remained stable on highest settings and everything just feels snappy. Not interested in the AI functionality, which is a main push, but it's a solid option if you're not worried about pricing.Ver másVer menos

  ASUS ROG Strix X870E-E NEO

  Beautiful board. Quality build. Lots of ports, connections, and features. BIOS Flash and Clear CMOS on the back. POST code display and Start Button on the face. Solid pins for all the power delivery. Great VRMs and cooling. 64MB BIOS is cool. NitroPath DRAM is interesting and nice. M.2 covers are extremely easy to work with and seem to be well designed. Currently, I'd say it's everything you could want on an AM5 based system. A little expensive at $600 but worth it.Ver másVer menos

  Strix X870E motherboard? Say no more.

  This is one of the best X870E motherboards on the market right now. Full of features, ports, RGB, and conveniance to help any build reach its full potential and maximum performance. Only downside I would say is the price, it's definitely one of the more expensive boards out there.Ver másVer menos

  Support is poor.

  Product design was the best I have experienced, but....After assembly it would not boot.Q-code was not defined in documentation and 3 techs could not provide the answer.Website functioned poorly by design. Management set a time limit which kicked me out each time I was asked to perform a test.Compatibility on DDR5 was out of date!Ver másVer menos

  Expensive? Yes. Worth it? Yes?

  Great solid x870e board, upgraded from a Strix b550e-e, the quality of life upgrades are fantastic. Quick release button for gpus and easy tool-less m.2 installation was a nice touch.Please note, that if you are using anything other than Windows 11 the wifi 7 drivers on the board will not work. Going to the Asus website they only have drivers listed for windows 11, not windows 10. I'm using Windows 10 pro. I had to find a Reddit thread to get the realtek ethernet drivers for the ethernet port to work.Board is overkill but I got it to have future proof build for these wild prices.
