Surprisingly good capture card. Limited to USB 3.0 but the quality of the capture is good.
Although a bit pricey, I found this is a pretty decent card. It allows me to capture video as well as commentary when I am playing the game so I can do real time capture and streaming. I will say this works pretty well for twitch streaming so far. I did not have to worry about it lagging or causing any issues with the video/sound. The only thing that may hinder is it your internet speed for the stream. Regardless, this captures at 60 fps which may be limiting for some but I would say that is pretty good for real time streaming. I have gotten great game footage. I found the device does run a little warm but nothing that is concerning where heat could damage the card. It is made of good material though that disperses the heat well as well as keep it from getting banged up. It does not come with any HDMI cables though so note that before you get this. You pretty much have to provide most of the cables short of power and direction PC connection. So far the capture card does a good job capturing all the video footage I need from my switch 2 games as well as my PS5. Although limited to 60 FPS, it has worked pretty well. With nitro, I am able to use this with my discord streaming for my ps5. I did use an adapter but I was able to use this to record retro games but it does not scaling or anything for those. Remember there is no component and composite output on this device so you need an adapter. I did not try it with my retrogame enhancement devices. It also is a great way to alleviate some of the strain on your computer while also giving you a clearer picture especially at 4k. The picture quality is really good. It had great color and the sound quality is not bad. The only thing is the refresh rate is pretty standard at 60 hz which is pretty good.. The setup is very easy. I was able to get this to windows 10 and 11 with the drivers. The software need to be downloaded online but it works well with this capture card that I use. I have not tried this with windows 7 or 8 so I am unsure if it will automatically detect but these are old systems. I did try it on Mac and it works pretty well but I did need to use a type c to type c cable to connect it which is not provided. This device does support 4k video so if you are uploading from 4k capable device, you will get decent picture from this. It does utilize usb plug which is provided so you are able to transfer the video at a faster rate. It also provides power to the card which is needed. The device is relatively compact and you can use longer cables to make it easier to find space for it on your desk or at your console area. Be aware that the USB cable that is provided is not exactly long so you may need to get another cable that is longer if you need to run it a bit further away. It does not provide a hdmi cables so you need to have your own. I actually like that you can plug your microphone and had set into this ALTHOUGH you have to be using the headphone jacks and not USB to get this to work. Overall this is a rather expensive capture device to have for recording or streaming all your gaming needs but the performance is pretty good. I am very happy with how the device has done. I can do my discord streams without much issue. There is little to no lag between my card and my PC so my streams are very accurate. I had no connection issues so far for this.Ver másVer menos
