Real review of a not-free product
This is NOT a “Vine Customer Review of Free Product”. This is a real review by a guy who paid $45 of my hard earned dollars for a water bottle. I’m not a Ridge fanboy - this is the first Ridge product I’ve owned.PROS:**It fits in the water bottle pocket of every bag I own, every bag my wife owns, and our kids backpacks. It’s not a girth monster.**It fits in the cupholders of our Nissan Maxima, Toyota Highlander, and my (pride and joy) Cub Cadet lawn tractor. Praise the Lord.**It’s slim and easy to hold - 24oz capacity is plenty. Reusable water bottles are reusable? If you drink all the water, you can just refill it. I don’t need a half gallon on me at all times - I'm not training for a triathlon.**It doesn’t leak. Has good silicone gaskets that work well, and has a safety lock for the accident prone among you.**Has nice style & colorways, so it’s easy to identify if it gets lost in a sea of everyone else’s emotional-support water bottles.**Has an ice catcher. I didn’t know this was something I needed, but apparently it is, and I support it.**No straw. Has a great spout that makes chugging water easy when serious hydration is required. This is how water should be consumed by adults: efficiently, aggressively, and with purpose.CONS:**you don’t have one yet. Get your life together and buy one. If your reading Amazon reviews you’re obviously interested, just do it. If you don’t like it, return it.Ver másVer menos

I really like this water bottle, although I will be the first to admit that I've typically liked most Ridge products I've tried. I've put it at 4 stars, however, as it's not all perfect and there are definitely a couple pieces you will want to be aware of before purchasing.On the plus side - it's well built. I wouldn't say any more so than any other major brand name water bottle I've used in the past, but also no less so. It very much holds it's own and feels like it fits in well with the overall quality of the wider "premium" water bottle market.I also really, REALLY love the inclusion of the integrated strainer - if you use this for water with ice cubes like I do then it's an absolutely genius addition!On the "things to be aware of" note - while it is undoubtedly well built, it may or may not be worth the full ~$45 asking price to you. That is to say that there are definitely water bottles out there that feel every single bit as premium for not much more than ~half the price.It's also relatively small. This doesn't bother me, as my desk job keeps me close to the water cooler and it's never a bad thing to have an excuse to get up and move around...but it would drive my wife absolutely crazy. So definitely don't buy this if a smaller water bottle isn't your cup of tea.As long as neither of those "cons" scares you off, then you will likely enjoy this water bottle just as much as I have been and it's worth checking out!Ver másVer menos

I ordered the black and orange colorway which is one of my favorite color combos, so right off the bat I liked it a lot. It is a very nice water bottle. I have owned and used many different water vessels from starbucks to tal to miir, to stanley to yeti & others i've received as christmas gifts. I think most double walled water bottles are going to provide what you are looking for and it is hard for me to say any one of them including this one are superior to another if they do what I personally want them to do and that is to hold a diet coke or water or coffee and keep the diet coke & or water cold and if i happen to be having a warm beverage that day, (my coffee), I want it to stay hot. Ridge is in the top for quality and the price reflects that. I think it is pricey for what it is but it would make a very nice gift and as you can see the box and branding and presentation are exceptional. I would be proud to have it sent to a friend "sight unseen" from Amazon without me personally wrapping it. It is a quality piece of workmanship. I like the dispenser top/cap. The weight is in the medium range and i like that it isn't too heavy to lug around like some of mine are. I have wrist and elbow joint issues and it can be hard to carry and hold some of these bottles when they are full. I am excited to further test the Ridge.These are my thoughts/experience w/this item @ the time of review. Almost on the Ridge
This is a well-styled insulated double wall bottle weighing in just under 15 oz that fits great in car cup holders with a locking push button lid. It’s well-designed, comfortable to hold, and easy to drink from but lacking in capacity at 24 oz compared with the similarly cup holder friendly Owala Sway which is 30-40 oz. Like many insulated bottles it might be top rack dishwasher safe if it fits but handwashing is recommended. The lid has the stand out feature of the ice catcher which good for preventing splashing or ice falling out, but hard to remove plus another thing to clean. It doesn’t have any other notable features like a silicone bottom for grip/silence or ceramic interior to keep it from negatively flavoring your beverage in my RTIC. If value was notably better with a coupon or on sale then I would rate this 4 stars. I also don’t see any replacement accessories third party or otherwise for sale on Amazon which is another strike against this bottle. If you really like the style, give it a try.Ver másVer menos

Great Features, Lockable, Spout for Drinking From, Keeps it COLD!
This is a fancy water bottle with a number of features. The bottle has a lock that keeps the lid closed and unable to open, so if you are packing this water bottle with other items, you won't have to worry about it leaking onto other items in your pack. Once unlocked there is a separate button to open the top (it flips open when you push the button). There is a small spout that easily fits into your mouth, avoiding the spillage that can sometimes happen with water bottles when a rush of liquid hits your mouth. The inside of the cap has a rubber stopper that fits over the spout when the cap is closed, keeping the liquid from leaking into the inside of the cap (which would otherwise create an issue). The water bottle has a soft rubber handle that you can carry the bottle from, which is soft and bendable and great for carrying.BUT does it keep your liquids cold - YES. I put tap water into the bottle, adding some ice cubes. The cubes partially melted when cooling down the water and 9 hours later, the bottle still had partially melted ice in the bottle. The next morning (9 hours later) the ice had melted but the water inside was still very cold. That's 18 hours of keeping a liquid cold and if I had pre-cooled the liquid I put into it, it would have stayed cold even longer. If you want to keep your drink t its appropriate temperature, this is a great option. Very fancy!Ver másVer menos

Good looking bottle, like the ice catcher
Stainless steel double-walled bottles are becoming a dime a dozen. I am not familiar with this brand, but I do like the bottle. Looks sharp, handle is good, like the ice catcher idea inside. There is no straw option for sucking water out of the bottle, you will need to tip it and drink like an adult! The lid does have a clear plastic window, allowing you to see inside when it's open, which could be a handy feature. There is also a sliding lock to keep it from opening unexpectedly.The size is good, it's not a super tall bottle, which is nice for fitting on shelves. It is also listed as dishwasher safe, both bottle and lid. Overall, it's a good bottle with some extra features. I did not try denting it for this review, so not sure how dent resistant it is. I am also not familiar with this brand, so my main thought is, is it worth the premium price? It might be- but definitely a better value if it happens to go on sale. The main drawback is if people like to use straws integrated with a mouthpiece to drink, this bottle does not have that option, you will need to look elsewhere.Ver másVer menos
