Works in beard oil, Scent is not that strong.
I used this for a beard oil mixture that I make. It helps provide some viscosity (thickness) to the oil without it feeling like it's a balm. though the lanolin smell is noticeable, I did not think it was as strong as some expect. I was hoping it'd be a little stronger.As far as moisturizing, it keeps the beard oil steady through the day and helps hold shape. I did not notice any issues with itchiness, but that it keeps my beard soft.Ver másVer menos

I have been using this for 7 months and this is my experiance.I use this as part of my day and night facial routine.It's consistency is very very heavy kind of like petroleum jelly but a whole lot firmer and thick thick! It also depends on the room temp. You do not need a whole lot. Works better than any chap stick out there in the market. I did have a hard time adjusting to it's thickness but over time it's become a norm for me and I have figured exactly how much I need for what body part.The consistency so very thick that you cannot rub this if you want to put on your face. I more rub it on the palm of my hands make friction to heat it up a little and pat my face and neck. Rubbing on legs and arms is easier. Note your hair may stick to your face sometimes. If you have dry skin this is the product for you. I have oily and dry combo type of skin and this is amazing. I use it on my elbow and knees as wellI got the 8 oz size and am not half way yet but I mostly use it on my face and neck not body unless I'll be showing skin and need to look mousturized.SummaryIt feels thick waxy oily all at the same time.It smells is not bad but it has a scent I cant describe. After using for a while I don't notice it anymore.I recommend it for sure may not be for everyone but give it a chance and time to get used to it and you will love it!Ver másVer menos

Best substitute for Vaseline. I used a similar product for my nipples when I had a baby. Heals cracked skin really well.Might not be the best smelling g for some folks, but I like its natural smell.My family uses it for our lips, scrapes and scratches for my baby and her dad, and I still use it on my nipples to soothe them, since I'm still breastfeeding.I also use it to soothe bug bites and anything that needs soothing.It's pricey, but you only need to use a little, so it's going to last long.Ver másVer menos

4C hair? I think mine is 4J....or K.....
I have always admired the way that the hair products with lanolin in them have made my hair feel and respond. I bought the 100% lanolin to use as a base for other oils that I wanted to incorporate into my hair care. Putting them all together made sense to me so that I wouldn't have to grab this grab that wait a minute pour this, and so on. I am very pleased with the product when I did blend and whip everything together you could tell the lanolin was evident. My hair feels so very soft and retains moisture and, a surprise, it was resilient enough with the moisture to actually twist some coils! I had never been able to do coils before none of the products I used worked! Now, I did not proceed to do a full head of coils. I use plaits as a protective style for my hair. What I can tell you is that when I took the plats down a week later there was still moisture in my hair. I love what lanolin does for me and I will be ordering this again. I urge you to consider it if you have the type of her I do: the type that wants to grab the wheel and drive. Five stars for this item.Ver másVer menos

Good price and quality product
Great product to use for super dry cracked feet and skin. Helps heal quickly and is odor free for sensitive skin. The tub is a great size for the price instead of buying small tubes.

Good value for intended use
First off, I am using this product for dry feet. I have tried other lanolins. Compared to this products this is much cheaper. However it definitely has a more ovine aroma than the other products. It is also thicker. This is good and bad. A little harder to apply but probably better protection. I wouldn't recommend using this on body part (e.g. your face) that people might actually smell. However for feet it works well ( i figure not many sane people are smelling feet.)Ver másVer menos
