Solidly built, no notes
These feel very solidly made and cut with little effort. The set comes with fingernail clippers, toenail clippers, and a file. The clippers also have a small built-in file on the handle to smooth out rough edges if you just have the clippers on hand.The black coated metal is a nice touch, and along with the metal case and foam insert with cutouts for each piece, it gives them a premium look and feel. The case keeps it all together for travel, but you can also just forgo it for more portability.The metal feels thicker than other clippers I've used so they don't seem flimsy at all. Over engineered, in a good way. Combined with the sharp blades, these work easily. The Nail Clippers Set That Made Me Realize How Dull My Old Ones Really Were
I tried this stainless steel nail clipper set, and the first thing I noticed was how sharp the blades felt. Very classy looking
This is a very classy looking little manicure/clipper set. I don’t think the listing photos do it justice. This would make a great gift for a man.The “box” is actually a flip top tin case and the pieces themselves have a gorgeous matte black finish on the metal. The nail file appears to have a plastic, rather than metal, handle but it matches the other pieces perfectly and still feels sturdy despite being plastic. The clippers themselves both have a built in file on the underside of the handle that is exposed when you open them to use. I’ve never seen that before and it’s honestly kind of genius and really handy. My husband has some caveman toenails and these were sharp enough to easily cut them.I’m probably gushing too much but it really is hard to find really nice masculine looking grooming sets and these really for the bill. And under $10? That’s a really great deal for something that looks this nice. It’s the perfect add-on to have something to actually wrap up when you’re giving cash or a gift card as a present. A gift card would actually fit perfectly in the lid with a little piece of double sided tape.
