The most interactive Tamagotchi device yet!
Me and my sister recently got our own Tamagotchi Paradise devices (Mine is Jade Forest, hers is White Glacier).We love them. I love the idea that each tamagotchi has their own special characters you can get on them, and that some have exclusive areas and mini-games. It’s just enough difference that each feels unique but not enough to feel you HAVE to get them all to get the full experience. The connection is awesome and very satisfying to watch the animation play out. Each has its own themed mini games and all are fun and challenging. I love that you get to build your own world, discover new areas, and slowly unlock new features.The tamagotchi pet itself is much less needy as the other devices -which I like. It feels a lot more relaxed. In fact, you can literally have a baby sitter take care of your pet -for the ENTIRE DAY- (until 7 PM) for super cheap which is great for busy people and students.There’s more options for how to raise it YOUR way instead of a constant routine. There’s more hunger and happiness meters and there’s much more of a reward with keeping up with it. After a while of doing a great job in making sure it stays happy/full, it will be able to last much longer without you when you’re gone. Whereas, if you aren’t keeping good care of it, it’s hunger/happiness with deplete much faster. And just like the original tamagotchis, the pet you get is based on how well you take care of it! Only this time there’s 50 options instead of only 9 or so.Every character has its own unique animation based on its personality. For example, they all have different sleeping positions which is such a cute detail!When you release a Tamagotchi to the field -in order to begin taking care of a new character- it will be around in the background playing with toys and you can bring it on Egg hunts with you! I love this because you don’t have to FULLY let go of your character.Appearance wise they’re both stunning. Jade Forest colors are so pretty 🩷🩵, and the decorative pattern near the screen is also SPARKLY. The White Glacier tamagotchi has little sparkles on the snow and the entire shell is shimmery which is fits the winter theme🤍💜.Another thing is that you get to buy little decorative items for your planet in the shop!The buttons are built for mashing, which is great when you’re feeding it. And the screen will automatically turn off when you haven’t touched it (about 20 seconds)It’s much larger than the original tamagotchis and doesn’t have a keychain, it’s ment to be more put in a bag and brought with you than something like a keychain. I like it because -just like the gameplay itself- you aren’t CONSTANTLY getting reminded of its existence every time you pick up or even glance over at your bag.You can adjust the volume and brightness to your liking in the settings menu, and you can change your planets name if you changed your mind. When choosing the name you can have little simples and Tamagotchi faces in it as well (Took me a sec to realize this because you have to scroll through all the options to see them all)Just a heads up! I would suggest getting a screen protector and case! The screen/shell gets scratched pretty easily.I will update how long the batteries last soon!Overall, a wonderful tamagotchi.
